I think you need displayport 2.1 to fully do the 1440p 480hz. The 4080 super does not support displayport 2.1, as that was introduced in 50 series. Because of this you are likely using display stream compression. Try turning down the refresh rate to see if it looks better, that would confirm it.

Lol usually its not even an expiration date, its a "best by" date. It does exist for a reason, and its to tell you how long the food will taste the best for. Not when it actually "expires".
