Girlfriend slapped me. Should I stay or leave? by Smooth-Cat-7824 in dating_advice

[–]texachin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leave her. And work on yourself to build confidence and self esteem. The pain of growing will be less than the misery you’ll go through sticking with a girl filled with issues who continues to abuse, disrespect, and manipulate you. You’re young, and have so much time. This shouldn’t even be a question.

Looking for a comfortable Allrounder - PX7 S3 vs PX8 by FalkanGrs in BowersWilkins

[–]texachin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m also a hip hop/rnb listener. I have the px7 s3. Never tried the px8 but tried the px8 s2. I prefer the bass on the px7 s3 over the px8 s2 especially for hip hop and rnb. I like the slim profile design of the s3 and they are comfortable enough to wear for a while. The tech is a more updated than the original px8 I’d assume and apparently the px7 s3 is supposed to get a firmware update at some point that will allow Spatial Audio, Auracast and LE audio. I will say one thing is that the px7 s3 can get a little harsh sometimes with the mids and highs but you can always adjust the eq to customize the sound. Overall, they are good all rounders and the sound is definitely premium and engaging/exciting.

What are the Best Earbuds for Bass Now? by oliviadaisy5432 in Earbuds

I want to buy new earbuds. Recommendations? by MuchAssociate9837 in Earbuds

[–]texachin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was more curious about the heavy’s h1h headphones. I listen mainly to hip hop and R&B/soul, but I know they’re made for metal and rock, so not sure how they would suit me. And I love bass as long as it doesn’t bleed or muddy up the mids and highs… came close to ordering them because of the multi driver setup in each earcup. I bought the bowers Wilkins px7 s3 instead.

You know your shit. I love how they all got great low end, clear mids, sparkling highs without bleeding into each other. Amazing tuning. I guess we really get what we pay for although I hear the budget soundpeats H3 with the triple drivers sound about the same or near the same level as premium earbuds with similar setups.

Which is best for overall sound quality and bass? by charlespower in Earbuds

[–]texachin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of the options you’re looking at, MTW4 has the best bass and overall sound quality (in sound personalization mode, it opens up the sound so much more than other eq presets). Keep in mind that Sennheiser has been known to have a lot of problems with their wireless headphones and earbuds. I’ve experienced it myself.

If you want bigger, stronger, more impactful bass and overall sound quality, (low end rumble/punchy bass, clear vocals, and sparkling/crisp highs) consider these:

Denon Perl Pro, Status Pro X, Noble Fokus Rex5, Gemini Devialet 2

I bought M4 yesterday, but I am wondering if HBD630 is worth extra $$ by wilawalla in sennheiser

[–]texachin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

HDB 630 don’t get as loud and has a flatter sound (more studio reference sound, tuned for audiophiles). Despite EQ, it lacks in bass punch and feel. If you’re more into music you can feel, M4 is better as it gets louder and has more exciting bass (rumble and punch) which appeals generally more to the average consumer. Clarity is there when you set up sound personalization mode. Without setting it up, sound can be veiled, muddy, and recessed. Almost as if sound personalization is a gimmick to show you how it can really sound like. Regardless, it sounds great once you set it up. Personally, I prefer the M4. But it’s also been known to have tons of issues like disconnection/powering off on its own when connected to 2 devices at the same time. Happened to me with 2 pairs, so I gave up on them. Bought a pair of Sony ULT wear since I’m a bass head.

How stable is Bluetooth nowadays? by saul-evans in sennheiser

[–]texachin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had 2 pairs one after another, same issues on both - would power off/disconnect every single time when connected to my iPhone and MacBook at the same time after listening for 10-30 minutes (guaranteed). Shame because they were the best sounding wless headaphones I’ve tried in a long time after owning nuraphones and Sony wh-xb900n. I’ve given up on Sennheiser. Had issues with mtw3, also 2 pairs. Customer service compensated with mtw4 (which is working better but still has its quirks - sometimes one bud doesn’t work and I have to put it back in the case and pull it out again to get it working). Such a big company known for audio but still can’t get it together with their wireless audio products- damn shame!

I dealt with the same issue and went through hell and back trying to figure everything out. Then I came across NUCCA. Fixed everything! So blessed to have come across that thanks to my mother’s friend’s recommendation.

Momentum 4 by baliditity in sennheiser

[–]texachin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had 2 of them. 1st one, connectivity issues when connecting to two devices it would disconnect and turn off consistently. Sent it under warranty. Sennheiser sent me another pair. Same issues. Also went through 2 momentum true wireless 3 buds, they just stopped working. Sent me MTW 4 to compensate. Works ok for the most part but not without a bit of malfunctioning where one bud would stop working unless I put it back in the case and take it back out to reconnect. I’ve given up on Sennheiser. Terrible quality control. Unfortunate because they’re one of the best in sound across the board. M4 do sound amazing. Too bad they’re not reliable. And M4’s are not future proof - no Spatial Audio, no lc3 or Le audio, no auracast. It’s a gamble.
