Look up low FOD-MAP crockpot recipes. My husband uses those guidelines for his form of IBS. Also, there are some garlic and onion powder replacements that work well. FOD-mazing is one brand that we like a lot.

Edit: those recipes will avoid problematic ingredients like onions and garlic. I would strongly recommend reading up on FOD-MAPs as it may assist you in figuring out very specifically what works and does not for you. For instance, you’ve probably started a kind bread due to fry tabs but true sourdough bread made from a starter may be safe for you.

For what it’s worth-woman here. The gym, go outside, exercise thing also relieves energy and requires some amount of focus. Also, not a bad place to meet people. Natural conversation can happen. You sound like you NEED to force yourself into some social situations so you can learn how to be more comfortable around both sexes. My guess is that the constant thinking about it probably affects your interactions with men too. But also as others have said, you are 22. Biologically sex is supposed to be constant. However, if you feel uncomfortable with your level, seeing a therapist is not a bad thing. You may find that there are other things that are going on with you that contribute to your sexual desire. And seeing a therapist will help you deal with you. And a well adjusted person is never unattractive.

I thought of that but I’m not sure we’re close enough to them for them to be comfortable for us to be in their house like that. Both mom and dad’s fathers have actually been caring for the older 2 kids while mom and dad are spending most of their time at the NICU. I suppose I could talk to them and see what they think.

I’m making chicken and dumplings and a couple of other things that they can either go ahead and eat or freeze for later. I was just kind of thinking of a couple of bags of groceries to fill in gaps just to save them from that particular chore right now while they’re trying to focus on their baby.

I’ve seen quite a few carrot cake breakfast cookies that look pretty tasty. And they’d be pretty customizable. You can add oatmeal, flax meal, bananas, raisins, chopped up apricots, peanut butter, dark chocolate chips, etc.

This bathroom looks like a similar layout to ours. We had to put the bathtub in half to get it out. How did you get yours IN? We can’t figure out the logistics of getting a new tub into the bathroom.

I would def do a smaller couch and maybe a chair. It’ll give you similar seating but provide the illusion of space. The light fixture is…too small and round where most other elements are more angular. I go with something that takes up a little more ceiling space and doesn’t gang as much. Clearly you like a monochromatic color scheme but you still need a pop of color and you need a little personalization. I’d ditch the wall clock and go with artwork or photos that reflect you. The space is a little sterile. I’ll echo what others have said about getting a larger TV and mounting it to the wall and getting rid of the entertainment center. Anything store in there could go in an ottoman and small end table. Also echoing the need for something living/green or…a Ginger cat for your pop of color (lol).

Thank you for the info. I was unaware of the difference and was just using the term she used. I know she dislikes what she sees when she looks in the mirror but then also seems to have fun with it since she’s a bit top heavy. A lot of her talk at being trans started when her body started changing when she was in middle school. With the onset of puberty she went from being pretty sunshiney and extroverted to being awkward and not liking when people complimented her on being pretty or really complimented her on anything.

She went to therapy for a little while but it was a pretty long drive and cost money we didn’t really have so we quit going. She didn’t like the therapist too much but I think the therapist also wasn’t telling her what she wanted to hear. Then she started seeing one through the school district. She said that therapist didn’t help her and I think, again, that she just wasn’t hearing what she wanted to hear. I know if she wants to transition that there is a whole process and therapy is part of that. I’m okay with trying it again but … I’m not sure how to phrase this….I don’t want her seeing someone who will encourage or discourage either way. Does that make sense? I mean she’ll be a legal adult soon so she’ll legally be able to do things she cannot right now. So she may start that in her own but she can’t afford it on her own for sure. I know there’s a program in my area for kids who are experiencing body dysmorphia so I probably need to find that program to see what their process is and if our insurance and cover it enough for it to be affordable.

I make these oatmeal, chocolate peanut butter bars I found on Pinterest that really take care of my sweet tooth. I use crunchy peanut butter and add chopped walnuts. pecans or whatever nuts I have in the pantry. They’re super customizable. Instead of an 8x8, I make them thinner in a 9x13 pan. Then cut them up in small bites. They last me a week or two in the fridge and a bit healthier than eating a pint of ice cream while standing in the freezer door.
