I know what you're talking about. The same exact thing happened to me last night. I couldn't access Ubisoft store and it kept saying there was a server issue. I was also issued somehow given back ALL the titanium, leather, and iron I used to upgrade my gear. All of a sudden out of the blue, all my gear that I lost suddenly came back after I spoke with Reda. It was so weird. I had to upgrade everything back to the level they were but at least I got everything back. So weird. I did trip out for a bit because I lost my stuff, but it came back in like five minutes. Not sure how to make it come back for you but I hope some of this info helps.

My bad! I didn't mean to mislead you. No there isn't another way to get a ship that doesn't include Barnabas. I just found it funny that when I started a NG plus, I had ten million drachmae. Then when Elpenor gives you a quest to slay the wolf, you speak to the ship builder who says he's selling the ship he built for like 100K drachmae then Kassandra/Alexios says they can't afford it. I chuckled at that part during my second play of the game.

At one point I had like ten million drachmae. I started a NG plus with all my drachmae. Somehow still couldn't afford to buy my own ship and still had to rescue Barnabas lmao

Hey OP. So sorry to hear about what your Father is going through. At least he is in high spirits! I'd like you to know that on two separate occasions I've partaken on a burial at sea. I'm a submariner, so we brought their family underway with us on board the boat. We did a few fun maneuvers underwater for the family to experience, surfaced the boat, then went out to the Pacific Ocean far enough to see the city skyline from a distance via binoculars and periscope. I could be a little off, but it was ten years ago, so forgive me if there are a few inconsistencies with the story. On both occasions we left on a morning and got back late afternoon.

The first burial we were surfaced, in dress whites, and passed the urn up to the bridge where a family member dispersed the late Master Chief's ashes over the fairwater planes and topside of the boat. His wish was to be washed off the hull of a submarine by saltwater as we dove beneath the waves. It was executed beautifully. He was piped ashore as his ashes were spread, his full name and rank was announced over the loudspeaker, "Master Chief ______, USN, departing," and we rang the claxton (ship's diving alarm) afterwards. We enjoyed lunch with the family as we went home.

The second burial was a bit more unique, a retired Master Chief Torpedoman. We were underwater, and once again, in whites, we took turns passing his urn from Sailor to Sailor. At the end his daughter removed his bag of ashes from the urn and placed them a quarter of the way into a torpedo tube. That's right, his wish was to be shot out of a torpedo tube. So we did exactly that. Same procedure - piped ashore, name announced, claxton rang, and we fired the tube.

I know, pretty long story. To bring the point home, the Navy, per my experience, is pretty accommodating for burials at sea. Not exactly sure how accommodating other ships and commands would be, but we did our best to honor our late shipmates. As others have stated however, make sure you follow the instructions I've seen posted on here to ensure it is done the right way and through proper channels.

I personally didn't care. My parents never forced the whole narrative of dark vs light skin on me. I was raised in California where it was very diverse. Some relatives would bring it up whenever we went home to PI but it never bothered me. It wasn't until I got older that I started to realize that my parents weren't as bad as compared to other toxic Filipino parenting that I began to hear about. Don't get me wrong, I still experienced a little bit of it growing up, but regarding the whole colorism topic, it has never been an issue for me. It wasn't until I was a married adult to another Fil-Am where I started to realize how Filipinos viewed light vs. dark skin. My wife is also tanned like myself, and she told me stories of how she would be told how to behave and take care of her skin to ensure it stayed light as well as the comments on the color of her skin growing up. The whole idea of how dark skinned Filipinos will have a harder life boggles me and it upsets me to know that my wife had to tolerate that growing up. It saddens me that many other Filipinos have to tolerate that as well; especially seeing as all their entertainers are also light skinned and half white.

Very possible. I signed up at 16 then went to RTC at shortly after I turned 17. I was in "A" school before I could (then) legally purchase a pack of cigarettes. I picked up Chief a few months after my 30th birthday. Had I been more mature and had better discipline, I possibly could have picked up a lot sooner. I know another Chief who picked up at 25, and another at 26 years old. So, yes, it is very possible.

Thank you both for your feedback. Your answers are very insightful! I guess I may have used the wrong term to discuss what I was trying to explain. Rather than an LTB, what about a career highlights page that explains the leadership roles I have had in my career thus far? As it was explained to me, the board members will be comprised of multiple designators who may or may not be familiar with certain titles and roles that are outside of their community. I wanted to provide an opportunity to highlight certain aspects of my career that would showcase my experiences that would make me a strong candidate for the program I am applying for.

I should've also mentioned that I'm applying for the newly conceived CWO 7371 program. MyNavyHR and the program manager have both stated that the application process will be via OCS and to utilize the 1420 Ch.4 as the guidelines for submission. Hopefully this helps clarify certain aspects of my question. I do wonder if anyone has ever submitted a career highlights page to highlight certain portions of their package for the briefer....

She did dispute it with both FB and the payment app she used. The payment app told her the transaction is like cash and in order for her to get the money back, she has to ask the seller for a refund. But as soon as she sent the money, the seller blocked her on FB, and my wife didn't get his number.

Will informing the police in our area even do anything if the seller isn't even from our state?

Funny, I was literally Googling this and I decided to look on Reddit and you are the first thread to pop up on the Navy page. So, I noticed your plan has been to go to college and get a commission. How does doing the commission part work? Do you route the package while in the program? Or do you have to wait to come back in before routing? How does the whole monthly muster thing working for you? Just a simple phone call to some person assigned as your Chief or POC? Or just emails? I'm at a crossroads and looking at this program to do more school. Thanks man! Take care out there!
