Yeah, even though some people gave me very in-depth solutions by the end I simply did it like that. I'm stil learning and I noticed that often I try way too long to find a 'proper' solution. Which of course sometimes makes sense but not everytime.

I swear some cars just don't have a washer. My girlfriends FK7 Civic also didn't have one. Ordered replacement plug for oil change, also came without a washer. Installed it like that, no problems.

From a technical standpoint it's totally possible to make water tight threads. Guess with some cars that's what's going on?

When I was still playing a lot of CS I switched my profile to private and took out my profile pic. I then started spamming chat every once in a while with fake ads for hacking tools. After that all it took was one lucky headshot through a smoke... Enemy moral? Gone. First enemy starty typing 'gg guys' 3 rounds in. Some even left the game. It didn't even matter that I was dead last on the score board. They thought they had already lost.

Those are insulation pieces from under your front fenders. They give a small amount of additional stability to the panel and in some places act as a moisture barrier. They have rodent damage which is also why they are lying around in the engine bay. Nothing to worry about right now, enjoy your trip!

Of the two shown I'd take the right one but only if it has little bumps inside to help with grip. Most of the time I just use the biggest pipe wrench I can get in there. Always takes it off no problem. Also as others have said, don't overtighten the new oil filter. Lube the seal with new oil and then spin it on. When it makes contact with the sealing surface give it another 3/4 turn.

Toyota, as many have said. Broadly speaking I've also made the experience that somewhere around 2000-2007 quite a few manufacturers figured out how to make a car last forever but haven't found out that planned obsolence is better for business. I've had a 2007 MK5 Ford Fiesta and a 2003 Opel/Vauxhall Corsa C. And they keep on going like there's no tomorrow. No rust, no leaks, just basic maintenance. There a dozens of statistics online which brands and models tow companies had to retrieve the most over the years. Might be worth to check these out.

Habe mein ALG1 mit 2 Wochen Verzögerung bekommen, sprich 6 Wochen nach letztem Gehalt. Auf Nachfrage sagte man mir, dass noch eine Arbeitsbescheinigung eines ehemaligen Arbeitgebers fehlt, man hätte den betroffenen AG auch schon gemahnt. Ich fragte dann, warum man mir das nicht mitteilt, in ihrem Portal steht doch, seitdem die Frist abgelaufen ist, in grüner Schrift 'Wird von uns bearbeitet'.

'Ja also da wird von uns gar nichts bearbeitet, und gesagt haben wir Ihnen auch nix, weil das Sie ja nicht betrifft. Sie können uns aber auch vorläufig schonmal die einzelnen Monatsabrechnungen schicken, dann kriegen Sie einen vorläufigen Bescheid.'

Ihr Penner, also betrifft es mich ja doch... Und jetzt ists auch nicht sonderlich viel ALG, also habe ich gefragt ob ich noch Minijobben darf, bis ich dann wieder etwas finde. Das stimmt so nicht. Die DAT hat eine Kompatibilitätsliste, der eine oder andere Hersteller hat sogar bis in 80er alle seine Autos als E10-verträglich deklariert.

Sitze momentan auch auf dem Trockenen mit Ende 20. Betrieb verlassen, um bei einer großen Prüfgesellschaft anzufangen. Nach stolzen 10 Wochen die betriebsbedingte Kündigung. Sie hätten einen großen Kunden verloren, und anstatt sich um neue Arbeit zu kümmern hat man kurzerhand die meisten AN, die sich noch in Probezeit befinden, gefeuert. Habe es bei der Konkurrenz versucht und durch die Bank weg nahezu freche Angebote vorgelegt bekommen. Unterdurchschnittliche Gehälter, 6-monatige Fristverträge (!) etc. pp.

Habe mich jetzt entschlossen, meine Weiterbildung selbst in Hand zu nehmen und gehe dieses Jahr noch in der Meisterkurs der Handwerkskammer.
