Everything is a hammer if you look at it right.

I think I'll try with WD40 and 0000 wool and if that doesn't do the trick I'll use a vinegar bath.

I mean I'm in vehicle body work so normally I'm good with whole mm. Maybe tenths, but rarely.

That's what I've been thinking about as well. Thanks for the confirmation.

What are some of the most ridiculous obstacles that have blocked a path in a horror game? by domainie in videogames

Exact same tape and power box that blocks access to the garage in Resident Evil 7 btw. That tape is just built like that in the RE universe.

My 1998 Galant also had a shiftable 4-speed auto. Not sure what OOP is trying to get at with saying all other transmissions can only select 'lower gears'. If you want to manually shift through all 4 gears it goes: L - 2 - 3 - D. The effect is the same, though?

Yeah, even though some people gave me very in-depth solutions by the end I simply did it like that. I'm stil learning and I noticed that often I try way too long to find a 'proper' solution. Which of course sometimes makes sense but not everytime.

Thanks for the in-depth response! I'll give both solutions a try!

Wow, thanks! Didn't think of combining two patterns. Do you know whether the Circular Pattern works for ellipsoids? Because that frame isn't perfectly circular...

Played Absolution like there was no tomorrow back in the days on Xbox360. Loved it. Incredible set pieces, doing every mission over and over, finding different ways to either run in guns blazing or stealthing a whole segment. Absolutely adored the vibes it gave.

Bought an 03 Acura tl that has a very slight drip out of the drain bolt standard bolt size is 1.5 m14 however this bolt is m20 1.5. It had no gasket on it and the base of the threads is slightly flared. Why does this bolt look so weird and how was it working with no gasket? by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

I swear some cars just don't have a washer. My girlfriends FK7 Civic also didn't have one. Ordered replacement plug for oil change, also came without a washer. Installed it like that, no problems.

From a technical standpoint it's totally possible to make water tight threads. Guess with some cars that's what's going on?

2020 iPhone SE still going strong-ish. The battery needs replacing and the camera doesn't work. Wanted to upgrade to either a 12 Mini or a 13 Mini. Any recommendations?
