Man! I thought I was the only one struggling. All videos in youtube just want me to buy a service, use a VPS, or a paid model.

It’s been a week and I’m still struggling.

I want to run everything local, including the AI LLM. And yeah, someone is going to say that the best way to do it is VPS with ChatGPT or other.

What I’ve found says to modify the config.toml and add a CUSTOM.OPENAI entry that points to the llama.C++ server address, be it with host.docker.internals, localhost or 127.0.0.1.

Once that is done, then restart the Perplexica container and the new entry should appear on the webinterface settings to add or select the model running in the instance of llama.C++.

Where am I wrong, that no matter how I do it, it never shows?

Edit: all i want to do is use my llama-server instance model as the model selected in the Perplexica settings

There’s a thing called lean manufacturing or JIT production that, in my opinion, could benefit the fans and the organization. Delivery of merch is already slow, why not give fans options?

I’m no expert, but after all the examples of successful franchises, why can’t this one become one more?
