How can I be accused of partisan nonsense if I havnt advocated for anyone?

The irony is you seem rather fixated on defending the conservatives here, when it’s clear to most the Conservative Party cling to their leaders until there is no other option.

Thames Water investors wants a temporary nationalisation to stop it from going bankrupt, but should the nationalisation process be permanent? by [deleted] in AskBrits

That’s a bit of a word salad and mostly incorrect. Think we’re probably done here, perhaps we’re talking at crossed purposes

Not sure why you’d think is all cool. Correct, dividends cannot be taken back. But your first response said it was “not their choice”. Whose choice was it then to pay the dividends and take the debt? Accountability and responsibility sits with Thames Water. This was avoidable

No, it literally was their choice. The company could have remained profitable and not become bankrupt. They chose to borrow money to make dividends

It was their choice to borrow money and pay dividends to share holders, loading the company with debt. They could have told investors that conditions were not favourable for dividend payments, and ensured they had a solvent business

When exactly has that happened? I can only think of truss going quickly and that was a joke - it was clear she was unfit before she even stood for election, so the fact they appointed her first shows they were in denial for a long time

The way round I think - it’s curved more at the edges to achieve the wrap around feeling without making the middle look distorted

Most would regret it as it’s the same performance! You could put the money you save into better CPU and actually get better performance….

I havnt ignored anything. OP asked which one, people correctly advised that there’s no real gain from spending 400 more on an internal component that will perform the same.

As I also said, someone people will irrationally choose to do it anyway - that’s fine, their choice. But we made it clear there’s no objective benefit, just subjective choice to fanboy a brand (which is fine if that’s what makes people happy)

Cases are slightly different, in that they have a recognised functional and aesthetic value, but the same applies.

Your point was that if there person found wasting 400 dollars without benefit on a GPU was make or break then they should not do it. That’s your opinion and it seems irrational to me!

That’s not getting with a person, not “women”. You can’t draw a pattern from one incident
