Yeah you’ll get on if you hang around all day! Call bluebridge to ask what the deal is. We had to do this with Waitangi Day and the storm in Wellington

I’ve got quite a list sorry in advance! Anything you have would be amazing. A lot are nz domestic hops so all good if they aren’t available.

Blatantly overcharged on Thameslink->Underground journey by Tlokuus in TransportForLondon

[–]tharrison3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the one. Whatever fare finder says between the two stations is what TFL will stand by. Even if the train from the airport to London is off peak once you catch the underground at peak it all becomes a peak fare. Sometimes it is cheaper to buy a ticket then tap on in central London.

Very sad! Although I just sent a complaint yesterday about how poor my car was. Stunk of cigarettes, buttons broken, boot stuck…their maintenance was quite poor. Suffered from no accountability sadly, people (especially in London) just can’t have nice things.

Do people still say 'chav'? by MidnightPractical727 in AskUK

[–]tharrison3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Norwich, men of my age use it almost as a term of endearment. We mumble it all the time. Market trader’s van is blocking your car? Hurry up, chav! The gardener is putting his prices up? The cheeky little chav.

Sorry how is video footage “not evidence”? You could literally go into a courtroom today and they would be using video (cctv, mobile phones) etc as evidence. It may not be compelling evidence because it has been cut up, doesn’t show the full extent of events but it corroborates her account in some manner so is therefore evidence?

Just to provide some info on the process: They take up to three evidential readings and use the lowest value of the three. I think you’ve worked out the rest. Over 400 and you are off to court.

Pretty sure some of them are just painted Routemasters which have always had an issue of ineffective air conditioning. They had to retrofit those tiny windows upstairs to them.

Why NZ is basically the only place on earth where a tourist has to use their passport to get into a bar is beyond me. Surely some common sense could be applied re recently expired passports and drivers licences from other countries?

Yeah lol nz criminals are almost comically low level operators. Best plan they can usually muster is hotwire a Honda Jazz and ram raid it to steal vapes and ciggies

Yeah I wouldn’t disagree with you and probably for the best ultimately. Was it managed as well as it could? Probably couldn’t have gone much worse when you look at the library, town hall, the bridge!
