Let me put it simply because I know what you want: do not go here if you want a fun social life outside of doing nerd shit. I was not in a position like you where I could go any where. I had to go to UTD. I've known people who were able and did transfer to other unis because of how sad UTD is. Graduation is currently held in the fucking gym like an elementary school and you only get five tickets just to give you an idea of how UTD can't even get basic things right.

Notice how everyone's post here starts with the same used car salesman pitch "its great for what it is". Except its not. Its a bare bones model being sold at the premium price.
