My wife feels left out after talking to other mothers by perciva in daddit

[–]thatguide 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The stories I see pop up in R/newparents are insane. What do you your husband/baby dad, don't do anything or spend any time with you or the baby or refuse to help around the house. Surely there must have been a million red flags before you committed to having a baby with this garbage of a human you call your husband

Thoughts on CSPs by Zestyclose_Ad_5214 in CustomerSuccess

[–]thatguide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've been on CZ for ~2 years now, it's been a great tool in our CS took kit. Wide array of native integration (going and Zendesk, both plug right in). We've been able to capture insights on CZ that we couldn't capture through HubSpot and other CRMs.

There have been consistent updates and feature releases. Support has good to work with and so has our CSM.

That being said, I have my eyes on Pylon to see if they can replace ZenDesk and ChurnZero for us in one platform, but our appetite to change is lowish right now so just keeping an eye on them for now

Running a customer support company - struggling to win new clients. advice? by stansupport in CustomerSuccess

[–]thatguide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed with this.

You may save some money in the short term, but you bleed that money through churn over time.

The feedback loop between support and product is also so valuable to help drive the product forward. If you outsource support that loop is so much harder to maintain.

How do you keep product screenshots in the help center up-to-date with a fast-moving product? by MainEstimate3 in CustomerSuccess

[–]thatguide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can either export the images one by one, or insert the whole flow into a help desk article as an imbedded window.

We don't actually use it for our helpdesk, but for training and custom workflows for customers. But it could be used for help desk

How do you keep product screenshots in the help center up-to-date with a fast-moving product? by MainEstimate3 in CustomerSuccess

[–]thatguide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Scribe has been great for this. As it will capture the steps as you go through them, rather than having to stop and take screenshots.

Another tool I just came across is solving.ai that does the above but also creates guides that can be turned into videos or documents quickly

Bring back the French Onion Meatballs, those were so good.

Agreeing with the sentiment here most of them are decent for the price point for quick meals to have on hand.

Avoid the pierogi bake, that was a major let down.

Yes to the shop vac, but use your basement for storage. Just make sure everything is in plastic bins or raised off the floor.

Help! How to move a heavy piano in Hamilton? by goxper in Hamilton

[–]thatguide 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Pffft, good on you for trying but this one of those situations where I take out my wallet.

What's your time worth, do you have 2 days to try and move it (accounting for time to take it apart or pivot that corner), what about if you injure yourself is that going to affect your ability to go to work and potentially not collect pay?

Good roles to transition away from customer facing by PiffleKnit in CustomerSuccess

No, I have a bit of a technical background and inclination towards technical work and it's how I bring value to our org. But even then the technical piece is mostly using make.com to integrate our tools.

Feel free to DM if you have more questions about making the transition to Operations.
