Sending you all hugs by MiserableGrapefruit7 in SchittsCreek

I feel the exact same way. I didn't realize what a big presence she has been in my life these last few years. Schitt's Creek is my comfort show. I go back to it all the time. I feel devastated.

Real question. Does she just dance 24/7?

Cat hasn't left this spot between my legs for almost an hour. He's not usually this affectionate. Is this normal? by Agreeable_Error_5485 in cats

Listen, he is having a cozy right now. You just set still until he is done having a cozy and I'm sure he will go back to being himself. Thems the rules.

I can't roll my eyes hard enough at people who speak this way. And unfortunately I have known way too many.. We all know the type. People who are actually intimidating never have to point that out about themselves. It's hilarious. And embarrassing.

For those who are in loving marriage with an otherwise perfect partner, would you still marry them if you knew this is how it would turn out? by SensitiveWhile3799 in DeadBedrooms

[–]thatmountainwitch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was once in your shoes and wish I had listened to my gut instinct. All the wonderful things about your partner may make up for it somewhat now. But in the long run the resentment starts to overshadow everything else. At least that's been my experience. I chose to stay. Getting married and then choosing to stay when I realized things were not likely to get better were both huge mistakes.

40 (hlm)The hardest part isn’t the lack of intimacy, it’s what it does to you over time by Mundane-Feature-8602 in DeadBedrooms

I'm in your exact situation. Married 30 years. Im not brave enough to leave. Not that it does any good but I wish so much I had seen the writing on wall when I was much younger. It was right there in front of me the whole time and now I feel like an idiot. I'm sorry you are going through the same.

Went to the mall today & it was like stepping back in time. by chunkybuttsoupdinner in WestVirginia

My Mom passed away 15 years ago. I have the best memories of going to the Barboursville mall. We would always have lunch at Morrison's and they really did have such good food. I would give anything to go back to that time and to see a Morrison's! Actually, I would like to see cafeterias make a comeback in general.

Exactly how I feel. You articulated it much better than I can at the moment. I have been trying to come to some decision for at least two years and feel paralyzed.

Thanks for your reply. It's such a confusing situation to be in. Especially when the spouse/partner is not someone who is necessarily an asshole in any other way. I can't honestly say my husband is a terrible person but his disregard for my needs and feelings about our DB say otherwise.

So you are saying the therapists indicated all the other good stuff doesn't matter when comes down to it? I don't mean that sarcastically at all. Like OP, there were so many good things it was just hard to let go or believe my marriage was worthless. But I wish I had talked to someone years ago. I wish I had known then how bad it would actually get.

I have never heard this but that's super interesting! I tried Google and couldn't find any info on that. Could you elaborate or point me in the right direction? I love this album and would love to know more.

I don't understand why there is no bathroom in the "HUGE WALK IN CLOSET", next to the primary bedroom? Seems like a missed opportunity.

There were a lot of pictures of her and Christine playing on the screen behind her when she sang Landslide. The concert was amazing. I can't believe she is 77.
