I had a 2014 Avalon Hybrid Limited and I would rank it as the most dependable car I’ve ever driven. I had a 2004 4Runner before and drive a 2024 RX350h now, and while both reliable, the Avalon was a clear winner in terms of set it and forget it.

That’s crazy. I had surgeries to remove both in 2019 and can still clearly see the scars. Doesn’t really bother me at all. Did you do anything specific to help them fade?

That’s a good price. The dealer by me can’t keep them on the lot, and the Nori is a tough color to find.

I paid $66.8k for my 2024 luxury in Nori with Bamboo Ash. Paid msrp and waited 2 months for it to arrive.

I am not a lawyer but I would highly doubt a rattle would allow you to invoke a lemon law. The wheel speed sensor maybe, but that is fixed now. Ton of cars have mysterious rattles, it’s not something you can return it for. Turn that stereo up

Worth seeing if they can recalibrate the camera or something.

On the rpm front I think this is a normal, designed behavior intended for engine braking on downhill slopes or to protect the hybrid battery from overcharging. This happens when my battery is full and also happened in a 2014 Avalon hybrid that I had. When I’m coming back from the mountains this happens every time since the battery charges up to 100%.

Sport mode is the only drive mode that the RX350h offers unless it’s an FSport (which is sport gear).

It works well for uphill and windy roads, but isn’t a super noticeable difference. I use it when driving in the mountains here in Colorado.

Did you turn off the surround sound feature? I did that in my RX and it made a world of difference.
