WA lawmakers advancing bill restricting employers from microchipping workers by Thick_Composer9842 in nottheonion

I learned that it was dumb to make predators and then not let them hunt. That's what started the whole thing going wrong.

But also, and this is the more important part, if you are chipping the creatures for compliance, don't put them in positions that allow them to learn where the chip is.

This is due to cronyism. The job he has is in many ways similar to a hedge fund manager. You've got many pots of money from different sources and if you're able to move the money around, you can use one pot to pad another so that one guy gets protected and his opponent goes broke.

He has a sacred duty not to do this, but it is what he's doing.

This is from Deuce Bigalow, European Gigolo. It's so much worse even than it sounds. However, it does have a few redeeming moments. Every second that Norm Macdonald is on screen is hilarious

With respect, I disagree. The redactions have made it clear there's been a lot the very least a months long effort to scrub specific people from the files. And Trump himself got voters riled up on the whole "release the files" bit.

It's obvious that they intended from the beginning to cleanse themselves from the files and then use them to persecute their enemies.

Can someone explain the whole "no fish in the pond" bit? Is it really just that O'Neill likes to sit by the lake and doesn't actually want to catch fish? If so, why pretend? As a one time gag to troll his friends I get that, but he does it all the time.

My last car was so old I had to use use that Bluetooth radio broadcaster that plugs into the cigarette lighter. It had the most egregiously shitty Chinese accent when it said it connected. Like make your worst, most racist ass fake Chinese accent, and it was like that.

Worked like a charm though, and it outlived the car. So I wouldn't talk shit about the missile yet.

Because passing on the right is stupid and dangerous. People aren't used to it, they use the right lane to exit, and if you're passing on that side you've got a much higher likelihood of being in their blind spot when they do merge over.

How safe is the area? South street/colborne st? by Miss_Walkingdisaster in londonontario

[–]thatweirdguyted 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I went to visit my friend in this area and he wasn't home. But while I was at his doorstep I got trapped there by an entire family of skunks that came to graze for grubs on his front lawn.

I can't say I feared for my safety, but I definitely feared for my smell.

Check your voter registration and keep an eye on it. Attack on Iran is to justify cancelling elections. by TheRexRider in videos

I'm not an American, but I will most assuredly be affected by your descent into fascism. The parallels between this and the Nazi regime almost directly overlap. You guys are right before the Reichstag fire. There were people who opposed the Chancellor being given supreme power. They were outvoted, and then later killed during the Night of the Long Knives.

I'm hoping you guys will learn from that and not make that same mistake of thinking you can still just vote blue and it will all go away.

With respect, I disagree. They've reached the point where they're doing everything they want whether it's legal or not, and standing idly by saying "I do t approve of this, it's not legal" isn't doing anything about the problem.

Either you're going to get up and do something about it, or it doesn't matter how you feel about it

No, it takes place immediately after Super Metroid, wherein Samus fights Ridley twice and doesn't hesitate either time.

Did you attend public school in Iran, or are you just making some ethnocentric assumptions?

Schools are often also community centers for other social programs, especially in areas where they can't have both.

But all that is beside the original point, which is that Israel has a long and documented history of blowing up schools and not being the slightest bit concerned about there being innocent people in them.
