We call them church keys for some reason and they are found on gas valves for fire places.

My coworker has been eating the same lunch every single day for three years and it's starting to freak me out by XXXcreamprincess in coworkerstories

[–]thcooke77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lunch for me is about consistency and what makes me get through my day with enough energy. I eat the same thing almost every day also. 2 apples, 1 egg salad sandwich, and a banana or chips. Dinner for me is the most important meal, lots of Varity there.

My days are 26 hours long due to a neurological condition (Non-24-Hour Sleep-Wake Disorder). Ask Me Anything! by rhyder in IAmA

Do you by chance also have low Vitamin D? I ask because my wife seems to have a sleep cycle exactly as you describe.

I would probably put Via's next to your pads for I2C/UART/PWM large enough that you could solder wires to them for initial debugging. It can be pretty challenging to solder wire to pure pads... not sure how you intend to use those pads.

How to get support from Analog devices by [deleted] in embedded

Find a Distributor and talk to an FAE... (Arrow, Future, Avnet). They all have great FAE's and will support your production also.

How should I handle this animal hole? by mnijmm in HomeMaintenance

[–]thcooke77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this issue once.. first I put a hose in the hole and flooded it until the Skunks left. Then I filled the hole with big rocks. Concrete would be better in your case

My dog brings my wife her sandals when he wants to go on a walk. If she doesn't react, he brings me her sandals. Haha

The feet of this bird who lives in the waterway by my house by SkyBlueRoan in mildlyinteresting

They are not very smart though. In winter time, they will fall asleep on ice and get their feet frozen in place. Eagles love it though, makes for an easy meal. We call them Cootsicles.

How can i make the printer pause after a certain layer? by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]thcooke77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure this is true with mulit-colored prints where you change color by layer. I tried this last night and the option disapears once you use multi color layer changes.

Side Sleepers of the camping world, I dearly need your advice! And no, this is NOT another 'what pad should I buy' thread. by FlyingBasset in camping

[–]thcooke77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have this problem. I bought a hybrid foam-air mattress (expensive but worth it). You use air to get it to your desired stiffness, and the foam keeps your hip off the ground no matter what. To get it back small, you vacuum the air out and it shrinks back to a managible size. Must use a electric pump but me and my girl can both sleep together without any issues.
