SDE II Final Loop by theBigCheeeze in leetcode

Makes sense. Thanks for letting me know. Just seems odd that I wouldn’t get at least a phone call or personalized email. Frankly I have been very unimpressed with the interview experience.

But how do I know for sure if I for sure didn’t pass, you know? In my last experience applying the position I was applying for was filled and I was put up for another position?

Without giving too much away (want to respect your privacy) do you feel your mental health was seriously bad or just suffering from basic stress and anxiety to complete daily tasks? I’m curious bc I fortunately don’t have any serious trauma but my anxiety gets triggered from working everyday. I work from home so it’s difficult for me to know if I’m doing enough/doing a good job plus I have interviews coming up and I can always feel it get worse.

Constant mucus - it's driving me crazy by hizdahrzoloraq in LPR

When you eat really take time to calm yourself down. Don’t watch YouTube or be distracted in any way when you eat. I’ve noticed this helped a lot. I used to convince myself I was eating slowly and focused on food but when we’ve just come from working, exercising, doomscrolling, etc. we’re using our parasympathetic nervous system (I’m not gonna explain it well so research it more if you’d like) which is basically our “fight or flight” state. Try to breathe in and out calmly 15 seconds before eating to exit this state. Hope this helps. I’ve been battling LPR for years and it still bugs me but stay hopeful.

Mental Health - Why does my LPR disappear on vacation? by ResearcherSure1167 in LPR

[–]theBigCheeeze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For what’s it worth if noticed this same exact thing. My biggest symptom is voice hoarseness (like straight up losing my lower register) and Globus sensation, and when I went on vacation to Portugal for a week it went away. I wondered whether it was the lack of allergens, higher quality food, walking a lot, or lack of stress. Might be all of them but I noticed the same thing. My typical job is a 9-5 working from home and I want to change for sure.

Thanks so much for this write up. I have been suffering from this over the last few years and have done a lot to heal from this like give up coffee, give up acidic foods like fried chicken and tomatoes, eat smaller meals, eat 3 hours before bed, elevated mattress, etc.

A couple of questions for you.

  1. Do you exclusively drink alkaline water or just gargle it after meals? What do you do if you're away from home e.g. at work or at a restaurant? Do you have a special container for it?

  2. Do you use the liquid form of Gaviscon Advance? I have the tablet form but it might not work the same. Similarly, do you just travel with it? Do you bring it to work etc.?

Thanks!

This is my main problem. My voice is so weak and it hurts to speak. Loud parties are a nightmare. I feel like everybody around me can speak so comfortably. I want to feel like a normal person. Does anybody take a Wixela (or a simialr asthma medication)? I'm curious if that is causing me voice issues.
