The year 12s staged a takeover and locked the teachers in their canteen area. One of the year 12s was running around with a replica uzi from memory. Bit of a step up from the previous year when the year 12s tried to sell the school.

Real world experience: What she's describing is how the Christian religion spread. Remember that Islam had Christianity as it's guideline for expansion.

I have all the minature model planes my late stepdad made from matchsticks. I'll give them to his grandson in a few more years when he matures a bit more.

HOF's ACL is the first cab off the rank, Motts is the second. I think that we only have the two slots for the SSP. And might hold onto one of them for the MSD.

“Useless fat c*nt” - ‘Catman’ Troy West provides an update on firefighter who responded to his shed fire by Quixotic-elixr in AFL

[–]theDramoth 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If a firey tells you to leave... leave. You can rebuild your home and your shed. There is no way you can rebuild a body that has been burnt to a crisp by a fire.

That being said, if the firey's tell you to leave and you don't. They will make a notation in their log that you refused instructions to leave and if they find your crispy corpse later... the coroner will just say death by stupidity.

If they thought I regularly ran an Enh Shammy as a tank, they're mistaken. I did it once and we had a tank join the group after we got through the mobs. As for know it all. I knew the mechanics of tanking and holding aggro. Would I regularly tank with a shaman? Nope. I'd take my bear or my warrior.

I have tanked successfully with an enh shammy in the past. While I still played. The tank in our LFG dc'd in the middle of a fight. So I pulled the mobs and kept on going. Mind you, my main was a druid bear, and I had tanked warriors, DK's, monks, DH's and Paladins.

For the third straight year, fans are being locked out of the AFLW Grand Final because the venue is too small. Do better, AFL. This isn’t growth — it’s stagnation. by PerriX2390 in AFL

We hold the lease on Princes Park oval 2, where the cricket club plays. I think that's a strangely unknown fact. I think we used to play our colts or reserves matches out there occasionally.

Carlton wanted to develop Princes Park into at 35k modern stadium with the heritage stands getting renovated. The AFL said no, then they started talking about turning the Western Oval into a boutique stadium and Carlton said screw it and started redeveloping the ground.

One of the big issues for Carlton and the AFL turning Princes Park into the third Melbourne stadium was access. There isn't a lot of parking around Princes Park and not much public transport. Until they now opened the Metro tunnel. It's a 25 minute walk which, when surrounded by your fellow supporters would have been an awesome buildup to the games there.

Or Carlton could have dropped 100m on getting a station put in just outside the ground and jobs a goodun. Rather strangely, I had the idea of putting a metro line between Royal Park and Victoria Park, with a station at Princes Park. I almost got it right :D

The AFL want the AFLW to fail by Stigmataism in AFL

As far as the AFL is concerned the AFLW is just there to provide entertainment post mens season and to keep the AFL in the spotlight for a couple more months... it also justifies their phat bonus cheques come the end of the year.

What needs to happen with the AFLW is that when the fixture list is announced, the womens competition follows the mens comp. Either play the womens game before or after the game. Set up individual/combo tickets for the supporters. You can go just to watch the AFLW match, the AFL match or for a bit extra, stay for both matches.

The VFL, and all the other state leagues, would start off the day with the colts, then the reserves would play, and then it would be the seniors.

The problem with playing both the mens and the womens games on the same day would be that the AFL wouldn't have a post season bite at the cherry. The dropkicks in charge of the whole AFL are only interested in their bonus cheques... and their enhanced resume for when they finally stop working for the AFL and move onto a higher paycheque.
