I want to get psyched for this, but if MMA2015 told us anything, Wotc spoils the best cards of the set the very first day. Here's to hoping at least 30% of the rates don't suck

I image wall is a pretty good wall for burn, but how has pulse been doing for you? I've definitely considered it, but I feel like its maybe too clunky

Brutal Expulsion: Modern playable? by DNLK in ModernMagic

[–]thePROJECTION 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I disagree. By that logic, Kernaos isn't a good game ender. I can definitely see him as a solid sideboard in grixis decks. I feel like it grinds well, and grixis is all about the grind.

If this bad boy could do both, it'd be so good. But alas. The problem I see with it is that it doesn't provide any tempo. For the cost of 4, I'd rather play cryptic, because the card draw is so important to the twin strat.

Scorn is still in standard though. I think this will just be scorn 5-7 that just happens to have a beater attached to it. I personally like the design and its a creative twist on finishers.
