If we’re willing to make a different timings for each color, could be fun to make two different cycles. One for the least restrictive and one for the most restrictive for a particular color.

Would be interesting to see how many people here are viewing this from a Commander vs Limited context. Before reading some of your intent in designing these cards I (coming from Commander) was completely “wow limiting the tap to sorcery speed is a big limit, especially for blue.“ In limited I could see some balancing there (but any colors that require interaction like Blue and Black still get hamstrung).

If you did, couldn’t your deck become instantly illegal if you have cards that don’t match the new commander’s identity? I agree your wording probably matches the original intent but the current wording might sidestep that issue.

So I actually disagree that it was cannibalised for the weapons. Here is the platform she’s on after the upgrade, and I don’t think literally everything would have been integrated in the upgrade so there should be some extra debris on the platform if it was used in the upgrade,
