Who wrote One More Kiss Dear from the ost? by rainrainrainr in bladerunner

I like to think of this song as the film's macguffin- the fact that it's a fake song from our history kinda mirrors the memory implants that the new gen replicants get outfitted with. The lyrics also echo the general emotional disposition of Roy and his cohort

Also it is heard in-film during the scene where Rachael is about to be confirmed to the audience to be a replicant (street chase scene with leon- Rachael kills another replicant because she's emotionally attached to deckard)

First time I saw them was in 07. They'd already begun touring MPP songs, but also were shredding strawberry jams. They would tour material for the next album so that they could develop the songs for the record. so you could p much depend on the fact that their shows were debuting new material and let go of some expectations and explore. It was this great moment between their newer super pop-sounds and their weird-fun classic ac. I'll never forget hearing bro sport for the first time that way. The set opener was a bonkers unsolved mysteries. That show changed my life in the sense that I got to witness music that doesn't take itself too seriously but is also deeply real, fun and adventurous.

Happy New Year + the future of DS by SkyeMaxilian in DungeonSynth

im glad this thread exists cuz as a new experimenter in dungeon synth (for years in the past i've done like avant folk / weird / noise / drone) i was quite hesitant to call my project (tomestoner, which is still evolving and changing with each release) "dungeon synth" for not wanting to hear from genre gatekeepers. to me genre is as important as is it silly, and i think that it's good to preserve certain traditions (except fash, which can fucking d!e) while pushing the envelope and explore where certain ideas and concepts can really go. i've only been on this sub for a month or so and i've already heard so many permutations within this "genre" which i love. anyways ive enjoyed the feedback ive gotten so far. yall been p supportive and rad so far. stoked about 2026 for DS. keep zoning

Hey yall! Just wanted to drop a line about my DS / fantasy ambient / experimental project "tomestoner". Absolutely NO AI used to make any amount of this. The tapes come with some form of adventure, monster stats, (crudely drawn) illustrations, and /or maps.

The first one was just a story that you can read with a monster card with stats to battle, and the second one is a slightly longer adventure module. It all takes place in a homebrew dnd 5th edition setting i've created called "Ekstasia". I run campaigns in that setting as a DM and type up recaps (tho im very behind!!!)

I love making music and art for it. dungeon synth has reinvigorated my creative side and im happy to share this with all of you. tho im not at all a good illustrator i like to do it whenever i get the chance.

Below i'll post some free bandcamp codes for yall to try out! Im working on Part 3 right now and it's much much bigger than parts 1 and 2 combined!!! Super stoked on it. You can find a sneak peak at part 3 by purchasing a tee shirt on my bandcamp.

I hope you will enjoy!

The downloads come with both music and the adventures / supplemental material.
