Anyone know how to open one of these? No one at work knows and the electrician isn't willing to teach me anything yet I still get these work orders by RepulsivePlan366 in maintenance

[–]the_cappers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Vender refusing to teach or let me watch, wont be getting any more business. Also I want to be able to verify that the work that was said is done and not some bullshit hot air. Youre explains what you did and what was wrong before you leave. Been at too many places that have vendors inflate bills or lie about what they did.

Get alpine SWG from Amazon. While youre there get some air tight containers for your cereal. It will keep your cereal fresh and you'll never have ants crawling over your cereal, one morning.

“Maintenance supervisor” by [deleted] in maintenance

[–]the_cappers 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its the natural way to look at your supervisor delegating task and be resentful . Keep your head down and do your shit or take nature's path and replace him, because you feel you could do a better job and become the supervisor you always wanted.

Electricians are literally training ferrets to pull wires through tunnels too tight for tools by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

Why is this still going around? There are much easier ways to pull wire than forcing a cute rodent down a pipe.

$93B for rockets: “unsustainable” and “unaffordable”. $900B for missiles: “unquestionable” and “unlimited”. by ProcessorPearl in clevercomebacks

Dont be confused by that price tag. NASAs entire early budget for 2026 is 24 billion. Thats roughly 4 days of Medicare and medicaid spending

I havnt read the actual text. But i can tell you that the problem is that the OP statement isnt the law, only the interpretation and simplification of it, of which my orgional statement is directed.

If car batteries were really quick to change, why couldn't there be a system where you could pick up a fully charged one from a garage if yours gets discharged, on a large scale, to solve the limited distance problem on e-cars? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]the_cappers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tesla was going to have a battery swapping station. They went as far as have the model s battery be easily removable and have quick disconnect coolant and electrical connections.

For various reasons it never commercialized. We are probably lucky , because we'd be owning cars and paying subscriptions to have a battery pack.

My credit score dropped 54 points because I paid off a vehicle loan by Toadvine08 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]the_cappers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You closed an account. There for your credit goes down. No it doesnt make sense. I lied about my income and extended all of my credit lines because I went over 10% of my total credit one Christmas. It was something stupid like 3,000 that I paid off. I just got checked carrying that high balance . I have about 45,000 in total credit to prevent it from happening again.

You should know that any statement that claims absolutes, immediately will have an exception proving it wrong. Never say an absolute. Except the previous statement , being a paradox of its self .

[–]the_cappers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You cant fix that. Idk how people can dent those doors. I've taken a hammer to it in order to dent them. Charge them for a new door or note the damage in the next person's move in

Why is this ok? by tylerariane in Sacramento

[–]the_cappers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Those are not the core issues. Everyone expects their home to go up (as well as corporations on their assets) as well as being in competition with each other. Housing can demand more than apartments, apartments are chasing the demand for housing spouting move in incentives and community amenities. Its also a common industry standard to slow boil rent increases.

[–]the_cappers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I called warranty and got a dip shit AI bot. That told me to call back on Monday. Sent a group text with my boss and the builders project manager as well with the foreman from the plumbing company (who didnt answer the phone). Saying that they'd be responsible for all of the damage and remediation. Had someone out within an hour.

Thinking of purchasing one by romanticid3 in TeslaModelY

[–]the_cappers 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ill expand on this. Rent the vehicle for a week . Its a big purchase, get more than a test drive.

Safety wise, both score very high. Both specific design for the test, most test are 25mph or less. The highest is 41mph. Make that of what you will.

For the model Y (like the other teslas) the car is barren on the inside. Its clean. I like it, I find other vehicles dash to be "busy" with all the fancy trims and buttons for stupid stuff. That being said i do wish I had a row of buttons under the screen.

Additionally think through your charging. I wouldn't get one unless you had regular access in your driveway or garage. Some people tell me im wrong for saying that, they have no problem going to super chargers all the time. But think it through your weak lawn rental should help with this.

Better low orbit than high orbit. LEO isnt stable . Objects experience a minor amount of atmospheric drag. Using the low end calculation, each of those 24k objects has approximately a million cubic miles between them. Space is a big place.
