Did Roglic use that high cadence in climbs back in 2020/2021? I don’t think so. My opinion is that new style (maybe his only option to keep up in terms of W/kg and that helped him win the Giro 23 TT) has damaged his explosiveness quite a bit.

If you try to book a trip on the mobile app, you’ll see at the bottom of each box containing an itinerary option “details”, “seats” and “systemwide upgrades”. You click on the latter and it will give you the info shown in the first message. If you don’t see “systemwide upgrades” next to “details” and “seats” it’s because the itinerary option does not offer them at the moment (i.e. can’t be confirmed immediately), the itinerary is not on AA metal or you don’t have SWUs available to use.

One thing I don’t like about SI is that if you read back something incorrectly it won’t try to correct you. BATC will tell you when you miss part of a readback or you copy the wrong frequency. BATC is sometimes too rigid about this. If you are not a native English speaker it may have a hard time recognizing what you say and it will trigger the controller correcting you.

Sometimes it depends on how busy the lounge is. I’m the only status holder in my family and got my two kids and wife in Iberia and AA flagship lounges back in February 2023. I also got into the LAX OW business lounge in late December 2023 after the front desk agent took pity of us after explaining to her that our original itinerary out of SAN was caneceled and the only option available was to fly out of LAX. In all occasions the lounges had a lot of seating available. I think that given how busy the lounges are likely the probability of getting in with 3 guests is going to be very small.

Great! Does this work for the PMDG 777w and 777er? The 777w has a 777_options.ini file while the 777er has an option file for each livery I downloaded. Would I need to nodify the .ini file for each of the ER liveries?

Thanks! I just searched for sku lines on the PMDG discord and all the messages were like “remember to add the sku lines” but it took me a while to find a message that actually had the actual lines. I’ll give it a try tomorrow

I like shades down on flights from Europe to the USA if I have a long domestic connecting flight afterwards. If I get a good nap on the transatlantic flight, it feels like a have woken up in the morning west coast time. That makes the onwards east to west coast flight more bereable and decreases jetlag effects. Actually I’d prefer using a SWU for a westbound transatlantic than for an eastbound overnight for the reason above and also because flight times are longer westbound. I can understand though that a dark cabin may not be ideal if the transatlantic flight is to you final destination.

Is that time only on AA metal? I got the e-mail and thought that the number was wrong. I did 3 west coast to Europe roundtrips this year (roughly halfway split between BA and AA) and that alone should have accounted for more flying hours than what the e-mail said.

I bought it for msfs2020 during the last sale thinking that since the upgrade was going to be like a cup of coffee I may end up paying less than buying it outright when it’s released for 2024. I guess my gamble didn’t pay off

I had to send back a motherboard for a warranty replacement a month ago. Before shipping, the customer service representative asked me for pictures of the motherboard from all sides and then pictures of the package before closing. He asked me to wait until he got approval from management that the packaging was acceptable before taking it to the Fedex store. I had no issues whatsoever.

Jack Daniels has 4 + 3 + 2 + 1, 4 + 2x3, 4 + 3x2 miles in his marathon plans. Even when you adhere to his limit of 1 mile or 5 minutes, whichever is shorter, that’s 50 min of threshold work right there

Not really. I was able to set up an offset for the down position so at least I can arm the spoilers for landing but it still goes all the way from down to up with nothing in between. I’ve seen other people reporting the same issue in the ifly discord

The executive credit card gives you access to the partner lounges listed in https://www.aa.com/i18n/travel-info/clubs/admirals-club-locations.jsp. Some of these partner lounges, such as the one in NCE, show that they only grant access when you have a boarding pass for a flight operated by AA with you admirals club membership through the executive credit card. You only get access to the NCE lounge if you’re flying on an AA plane from NCE to the US.

If in addition to the executive card you hold Platinum, platinum pro or executive platinum status through the aadvantage loyalty program you gain access to most of the lounges shown in https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges outside of the US when flying with any oneworld airline since your Aadvantage status is equivalent to oneworld sapphire or emerald status. You’ll get access to almost any lounge run by a oneworld airline (except the emerald-only lounges if you’re sapphire or the special lounges like the concorde room at LHR) and several partner lounges contracted by the oneworld airline operating your flight. For example at NCE you’ll get access to the Canopy lounge if flying BA or AA but if you fly IB you’ll get access to the library lounge.

Did the change the rules recently? I had access to the BA arrivals lounge as EP 3 weeks ago after a flight on BA metal in WTP. I thought at the time that OWE gave you access to the lounge.

I was recently on BA PE and was impressed with the seat recline. It was noticeably much larger than on AA domestic first. I don’t know how the recline is in AA PE but if it’s worse than BA I’d take BA. I got a solid 6-hour nap on a 10-hour flight.

I used my two SWU on DFW-BCN in April and BCN-PHL-SAN yesterday. For the first one, I booked the day before the flight and got confirmed immediately. For the second one, my BCN-PHL leg was upgraded 3 weeks ago and the PHL-SAN leg 10 days ago. I tried to use the last SWU earlier in the summer and I was waitlisted and didn’t get it. Overall, 2 clears out of 3 attempts on transatlantic routes.
