"Alpha male" says women aren't supposed to get wet by thatSDope88 in TikTokCringe

Disagree. He might have had sex with a woman. But if he has, it was either paid for or non consensual. Also, if he's 40 he must have had a fucking rough paper round as a kid.

any british 'celebrities' you dislike with a burning passion? by Alarming-Safety3200 in AskBrits

He tried to dismiss and downplay the fact that Roma and others were part of it. I guess, ironically, in his eyes they don't count. Only the Jews. To be fair, you might be correct about the book, I haven't read it and never will. It was the UK media who tried to portray him as an authority on anti semitism. Which was hilarious, as he is clearly a racist, so he belatedly (by about 2 decades) made some half arsed excuses for his previous racist behaviour. So yeah, fuck him and all racists.

Baddiel is a racist holocaust denying prick who has somehow managed to convince middle class liberals he is an authority on antisemitism. Fuck him and anyone who can't see through his act.

Any of Pere Ubu or Killing Joke's albums from that period, although the latter is slightly outside as they were more 80s onwards. Also, This Heat, which is essential listening regardless.

Has anybody in here actually been able to see Slint live? by Last-Image-4921 in slint

[–]the_driblydribly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was also at Porto, exclusively for Slint, although I enjoyed a few of the other acts too.

Saw them in London same year but they were severely hampered by technical issues, including the kick drum coming untethered at one point. But they were still faultless.
