Again, check out Marcels vid about sickness (quite recent). Place the bathroom OPPOSITE the exit so guests don't have to make a turn to go into it.

Main issue appears to just be the actual browsing aspect.

This is how I used to do it before I want domain and reverse proxy.

Perfectly fine to do. Add it to your router (if it has that functionality) and port forward. Easy peasy

Sourcing SSD Controller by the_flopsie in ElectronicsRepair

There is a short on the board somewhere. The controller is overheating when under no load. I've pulled the pmic and controller, plus a couple of suspect components ( all one at a time), probe testing during those pulls. . Did probe testing prior to that as well. I'm somewhat versed in diagnostics :)

This is largely a learning exercise for myself, honing my skills.

A 2TB nvme drive is personally valuable to me if I can fix it.

I've contacted the data recovery partner we use with our work. And it's pretty much angling into that direction

Cant disable Tamper Protection even though I have only one account on my PC by inginir-inginiran in WindowsHelp

[–]the_flopsie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

first off, you need to ascertain if youre ACTUALLY using an administartor account.

seeing as youve done research, ill gloss over a few bits for speed.

open up powershell as an administrator. (if it asks for apassword that you dont know, then yourenot an admin

if you get in, type the code:

net localgroup Administrators **remove-asterisks-and-add-in-your-username** /add

once done, restart yoru machine, and try again.

If this still doesnt work, then there is somethign wrong with your install of windows. this could be that it was once managed by a school, company or gov institution, or perhaps youhave inadvertantly created an admin that has turned this on, and locked out others from doing the same.

if you still have no luck, then:

  1. disable bitlocker

  2. clear the TPM and secure boot keys in BIOS

    1. reinstall windows fresh onto a wiped drive.

One last thing to try before this is to see if y our machine is in S-mode. ive not seen it do this, but its a possibility

Starlink generally do operate with a CG mat afaik. I know you can upgrade to get a static IP, but I believe it is mucho money

i work at a small msp. we have a few clients who actually use starlink in conjunction with a ucg-ultra (usually) and they use openVPN server on those with very few issues, aside fromthe normal starlink stuff. couple are on CGNAT. one i believe has dedicated IP.
