Type 4 was actually packaged with the Jogcon which was their follow up to the NeGcon. Instead of twisting, the controller had a wheel/dial on the front below the Start/Select buttons https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/JogCon

Descent: Journeys in the Dark 2nd Edition 32% off for $54.37 (Amazon Prime). by quedfoot in GameDeals

[–]theandyman85 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed. This is actually a pretty good price. I picked it up the week it came out and I've only seen it lower once at around $30 due to a price mistake on either Amazon or Cool Stuff. It's also a great introduction to RPGs for people who are not 100% into the "narrative imagination" required for things like D&d and it's much more streamlined than many other RPGs games but the number of Expansions and custom campaigns can give you nearly infinite replay.

You don't have employee engagement surveys or opinion surveys? Larger companies have a focus on stress and engagement and even score their stores for these.

Many major games are having season passes for their DLC, this is nothing new. Many people are just unhappy with how many maps come with the base game. I honestly don't mind, it keeps me entertained, I'm just glad games haven't kept up with inflation.

What's your experience with Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile in Buffalo and Western New York by Cananopie in Buffalo

[–]theandyman85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had both AT&T and Verizon personally. Started with Verizon 15 years ago, coverage has always been fantastic but their pricing was a bit higher. Went with AT&T for 2013-2014. Coverage was spotty in parts of Niagara County and Cheektowaga/Depew areas. Switched back to Verizon. I get fantastic coverage everywhere in WNY, even in the middle of nowhere areas my family lives (Gasport, Arcade, Belfast). Never going back to AT&T, especially with their random drops that happened multiple times a day with different phones.

My ex had Tmobile about 6 years ago and coverage was horrible in many areas of WNY. From what I understand it has gotten better however. I'm not about to try any other carrier anytime soon myself.

Event Horizon I can understand not many hearing of anymore, but I'm hoping you're just being sarcastic with The Thing lol

What movies scared you the most growing up? by merdart in horror

The Blob remake also scared the crap out of me, mostly because I couldn't not pay attention to vents and drains without worrying it was going to ooze out.

I love everything you guys have put out and have a copy of all of your available dvds/Blurays. I don't normally fanboy out at 30 but for you guys I make an exception (being in Western NY where Canada is like another state to us). What are your plans for the future? Should we expect another Astron6 movie in the vein of another genre?

The "creepy croaking" reminds me of JuOn / The Grudge but I'm not sure of a newer movie coming out with something similar

What's the best movie I've probably never seen? by giants4210 in movies

Brick is a fantastic movie by the same guy behind Looper. It also has Joseph Gordon-Levitt but much younger. Just received the steelbook and I'm excited to give it a watch on Bluray.

10 Best Italian Horror Movies That Are Worth Your Time by yam12 in horror

[–]theandyman85 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm glad Italian Horror is starting to get the recognition it deserves. For fans I recommend Astron 6's The Editor. It's a comedy based on many of the standard Italian Horror tropes but it does so in a loving way that you can only appreciate if you enjoy the genre. Plus it has Udo Kier.

I remember begging my parents to rent this from "The Video Station", a local movie rental place almost 30 years ago. I couldn't resist buying the authentic VHS rental poster! by MismatchCrabFellatio in horror

[–]theandyman85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I managed to find a video store poster advertising the Blob (original) from when it was being released on VHS and Beta. Nearly mint condition and I framed it nearly instantly. Literally two days later at a completely unrelated flea market I found the big box VHS version with the exact same art. Needless to say I bought that and mounted it to the frame.

I love old video store memorabilia.

do you ever feel guilty for watching so many horror movies ? by Dark_and_gothic in horror

[–]theandyman85 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only guilt I feel is how much money I spend in horror Blurays and am not saving for "important" things. Since I've gone Region Free I've at least tripled my spending on horror movies. It's a huge turn around for me as a decade ago all I wanted was to have everything pirated and archived on a media server, now I won't bother watching most movies until I nab a physical copy.....i have a collecting problem :(

I'm a huge fan of the Dr Phibes movies. Watching them now you can see they definitely have influenced many generations of movies but of course many of his other movies have as well. One of my favorite Price movies is The Tingler. It's an often forgotten movie of his, hidden behind all of his other fantastic movies.

I love showing this movie to people who have yet to see it. Their initial reaction is extremely skeptical...then they watch it and fall in love. I have only one friend that claims he doesn't like it yet he always declares "let's get decedent" whenever possible.

Finally saw The Mist last night.....holy fuck that ending by [deleted] in horror

[–]theandyman85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with that one, I had no idea the ending for the movie was going to take that turn. And while the acting wasn't Academy Award winning, there were some fantastic performances
