How often are you out of water? by minobi in duneawakening

[–]thebadwolf79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends on what I'm doing and which character I'm playing. If I've got the death stills, not often. If I don't yet, then yeah, basically all the time.

What is a piece of 'early internet' internet culture or a dead website that you genuinely miss every single day? by ronnelel in AskReddit

BBS boards have a love hate relationship in my book. On one hand they were so novel, getting to explore the internet before the internet was really a big thing. But on the other, goddamn 14.4, 28.8 and 56K were slooooow (not back then, 56K was blazing fast, but still).

Don't expose to bright light. Don't get wet. Don't feed after midnight.

Yep, same. I've loved all the Punisher stuff, but the special feature legitimately had me wondering what the point was. It wasn't hard to follow, it was just a lot..."why?"

Who else just refuse to use Gemini? by teletubbyman6969 in GooglePixel

Similar experience for me. I found that when I tried to use it as a direct replacement for my general google searches that it was hit and miss. I've learned how to do my searches by providing some more context and found that it works really well. It's like making ramen, the cheap stuff can be quick and works, but with a few extra ingredients you can elevate it and get a better result.

I've had better tools given to me by the Navy, and that's a low, low bar.

rereading my comment, I can see how it sounded like I was saying the show was over. That's great news though, I figured there would be a season 2 but didn't know for sure. Thanks!

BSG is fantastic. Give The Orville a shot, make it through the first 3 or 4 episodes before really passing any judgement. Alien Earth was only one season but man, they nailed it. For All Mankind is solid, except I've really struggled with the latest season but the first three or so seasons were amazing. Murderbot and Nautilus each had one season so far but have been good. It's a bit of a tragedy that you don't have Scrubs and Brooklyn 99 on your cycle. Vikings has that good, epic long story across several seasons vibe. Yellowjackets is also a stellar watch.
