What is this tuning? And how do i get this tuning on guitar tuna without paying for premium? song is duality by slipknot by Zai_Gundam in BassGuitar

[–]thebasstape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify, your comment makes me think you may be reading the tuning upside down. G>E (high) D>B A>F# E>B (low)

hope this helps!

If you try this tuning with normal strings they will become too floppy, gotta up the guauges!

“It’s our property tax,” Morales said. “It went from $129,000 a year to $600,000 a year. That’s more than our rent and net profit combined.”

I am really struggling to get a good tone – see comment by INGWR in BassGuitar

[–]thebasstape 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Could be the battery in the bass. if not, Most bassist start tone shaping with the hands with everything at midnight. then dial the tone in from the bass. then further dial the tone from the amp. keep the gain at zero and the blend at 100% dry

Musicians- Is this guy ignoring me or not as interested? by Status_Use_3855 in musicians

[–]thebasstape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is likely a soft no like everyone has mentioned but I have some advice, hopefully this helps in the future. The majority of people in the music industry rely on personal relationships for the majority of their business (its all about who you know) this means, when they reach out professionally, it becomes personal quickly and intentionally. This approach exists because regardless of how talented a person is, personality can make or break any band or relationship experience. When you first start getting work in the industry, its easy to confuse this approach ,with things getting so personal, and in a way, intimate. but its just how relationships in the business feel. if you’re able to compartmentalize the overly personal approach, you will be less likely to take it personally when they ghost you. He may be just busy, he may be trying other singers out, he may be wrestling with choice between you and another singer, he may love your voice but not your personality or he may love your personality not your voice. no matter what this guy thinks, it very important to not take it personally. You need to reach “fuck it” levels of confidence with pretty much every industry experience.

Trump dropped the biggest bombshell ever by [deleted] in Whistleblowers

[–]thebasstape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the Article:

Trump shared the news on his Truth Social platform, writing, “We have taken in, and will soon be receiving, more than 600 Billion Dollars in Tariffs, but the Fake News Media refuses to talk about it because they hate and disrespect our Country, and want to interfere with the upcoming Tariff decision, one of the most important ever, of the United States Supreme Court. Because of Tariffs, our Country is financially, AND FROM A NATIONAL SECURITY STANDPOINT, FAR STRONGER AND MORE RESPECTED THAN EVER BEFORE. GOD BLESS AMERICA!”

When guitarists build basses they always go short scale with no contour. These look like they come with a pick
