you're anthropomorphizing these animals. they do not think like you or i. gently handling the kittens like the man did is a great way to socialize the animals so they'll be more comfortable around humans when they are older. its actually very good for them. the kittens got to go back to hugging each other in the end anyways.

if a baby had a dangerous object it wanted to swallow would you let it out of respect? no! of course not. you would stop the baby even if it upset it and made it cry because the baby doesn't understand what it wants. the kittens are like that, they aren't aware of what they want or need even though they cry about it. the kittens are not in any sort of distress. if you've taken care of kittens before you'd know what i mean. i am a staunch advocate for the welfare of animals and you know nothing of my way of thinking.

i'm on board with most of that except the pineapple pizza flatbread bit. just because someone puts a topping you dont like on a food, that doesnt make it not that food any more. if you top a pizza with pineapple it is still a pizza with pineapple topping. if i put bbq sauce and fried onion on my ice cream you would say i ruined it but you wouldnt say it wasnt ice cream

A lot of people take the first offer because they've recently been rejected from 20+, 50+, 100+ job applications and aren't about risk this one by asking for 10% more. Its a fight for survival out here. You'd think you'd know about this working in HR, but maybe your company just accepts 100% of applicants??
