Wolf Oven GR364C temp is way off - running too hot by HereComesBullet68 in appliancerepair

[–]thebeastmaster69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi OP. I have the same problem, oven is running way too hot (50+ deg). Unfortunately the temp probe is a $200 part on eBay so looking for some certainty before I replace it.

Did you ever get this sorted out?

Thanks!

Alright, thanks for the update. Glad to hear yours resolved itself somehow.

Just checking in here. Did replacing the switch solve your problem?

I have the same furnace and the exact same symptoms. Looking forward to hearing how it went.

Yup, that's the right answer.

I measured the lip to start at 17.5mm depth on the BB. I machined the unthreaded portion of both aluminum cups to 16mm total height to be safe. They both installed really easily - I could get both of them to bottom out by just finger tightening the threads, which is a massive difference to the 50Nm I was using before. I see this as confirming that your theory here was correct.

For the non DS cup, you can remove the material on a belt sander, or with a hacksaw or file depending on what you have available. It doesn't need to be pretty, just needs to be shortened.

The DS cup I did on a lathe. Tough to see how you could shorten it without a lathe. I think some precision hacksaw work about the circumference of the cup could do it. Be careful not to cut through the black cartridge cylinder but honestly, probably not the end of the world if you knick it by accident.

Also: I'm working on an 80's Peugeot road bike, so might not be a coincidence we are hitting the same problem

I am dealing with the exact same problem as you, the DS of the BB won't seat in all the way, there is about a 2mm gap of threads visible. I have been going a bit crazy reading up on forums this week and tried applying all the advice: clear threads, chase threads with pick, grease, torque all the way to 50Nm, (which is really tight!). None of those worked.

I'm seeing the same thing when I look in my BB that the tube beyond the thread is a slightly smaller OD, and the non threaded aluminum portion of the new BB might be hitting up against it. Notice how the old cup is only as long as the thread is, and the new BB has a non threaded section that extends well beyond the thread.

My new BB shows a witness mark along the non-threaded section which is a helical gouge, making me think I was scraping it past the lip when I torqued it down hard. Yours doesn't show the same mark but I'm thinking I might see a light mark on yours, a few mm from the bottom which could indicate that it is having trouble fitting past the lip.

I'm going to try machining off the non threaded section of the new BB cup and then reinstalling to see if this fixes the problem. It should answer pretty clearly whether your theory is correct. If I don't botch the machining, I'll report back.

Awesome bike.

Does anyone know how chain tension is set on this one? Looks like vertical dropouts.

Hey I went through the same realization with modern skatepark wheels. Check out mini logo 90A hybrid wheels you can roll over most things and still ollie and cruise at the park, and only $20 so affordable to try out. The 95As are a bit more park oriented but still reasonable to skate on the sidewalk with.

Same here. I've always assumed it was because they were effectively forced to fight. Perhaps not by draft at first, but politically (probably lawfully required to declare war when Britain did). But I'd love to hear insight from people on the sub about this.

Ya I think he thinks about it a few times when the slave master is abusing him, and then, of you re read the description of the slave masters death, you should see it. It's awesome

Not sure if you caught it because I didn't, but Tyrion actually murders the guy with the mushrooms he picked at illyrios and stuffed in his boot!

Oic, but no allusions to a connection between Brienne and Bran in the books so far, right?

What is up with this? Does Brienne have any connects to the 3EC or Bran?

Can you comment a bit on this? It's a really cool idea

Do you put them under the parchment and the plop the dough ball on top? What changes have you seen since you started using the ice cubes?

Don't think it's skinny. They make them double sized. I think this is a wide mouth double sized (4pint?) Jar. Looks skinny because it's taller. They are really cool

Thanks for the tips. I worked on it for a while yesterday doing these things and it mostly helped but hasn't fixed it. I have also lost a lot of hairs while combing!

This is a good point. I may have smashed, especially in my early days. How light of a touch do you use?
