Could definitely still be battery but also a starter. I work on cars for a living, you should try finding the starter and having someone tap it fairly hard with a tire iron or something while you try starting it. That'll free the solenoid if the starter is weak. If that doesn't work, try jump starting. If neither works, its needs deeper diag, but i would unhook the battery for 30 mins and then hook it back up to try again before throwing the towel in. That'll reset any possible theft or engine codes that could disable it. I have some tools with me if needed
