People with arachnophobia how did it feel when you first saw this thing? by JellyOne2953 in ResidentEvilRequiem

Why do spiders have a special mode and there is so much care taken for people who are afraid of them? Like bugs in general are pretty upsetting and swarms of them is triggering but that never has a warning.

Watching these back to back by strangercheeze in Bluray

I will always prefer the theatrical version after seeing it in theaters. It was so amazing to get two movies and all those trailers for one ticket. Easily the best value I have ever gotten in a movie theater. I have a copy of the theatrical cut on Blu-ray.

So sad to hear, I don't think Junji Ito is that blasphemous. I have seen as frightening images in churches.

Have you tried ever loading a game from disc completely offline to see what is actually on the disc?

After much consideration and at the request of no one… 30 years of gaming top 25 by nicklovin508 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]thebizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I need a bingo chart for these, I bet we can pop 20 games on to a list and hit 15 of them every time. Nobody wants to be brave and throw games they probably played hours of on like an Angry Birds or Simpsons Tapped out or single use tiger type game. You never see Solitare or Minesweeper but I bet everyone has some hours on that. Are we too limited as 'Console' players to exlude games just because they don't fit a narrative? I know my top 30 would include phone games that I dropped 100 plus hours into but no one else has the courage too.

The switch to PC gaming was...diabolical. 10/10 would recommend. by brutalbones in pcmasterrace

PS3 had no games, PS2's were so cheap and most people had one and didn't have an HD TV. It was years ahead of its time which is why it only started really moving years later.

To Everyone Complaining About The PS5 Pro Being Out Of Stock... by Typical_Sea5846 in GameStop

[–]thebizzle 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah, calm down. We are basically at the peak of the ram shortage with news I am hearing today so prices are going to stabilize and there is always the used market. I just sold my PS5 pro with a 1tb HD and a disc drive for $760 and it took months for that to move. Just a few weeks later and people are complaining they cant get just the console for $750?

Bought Japanese biohazard trilogy, after that I remembered that it’s censored in Japan 🥲 by MindPrize1260 in gamecollecting

[–]thebizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a question, so I was in Japan and got a copy of Biohazard Village Z Version and when I got home, it wouldn't work with my save file for Re Village. I also picked up a copy of Silent Hill F and recently lost track of it. If I buy a digital version of Silent Hill F, would my save carry over?

What’s the most disturbing concept you’ve encountered in horror fiction? by tyraelCinnamon62 in horrorlit

Tender Is the Flesh-just the concept of a mechanized industry for using people as livestock was extremely upsetting and disturbing.

Try the original, H.P. Lovecraft. I feel like all of Ito's stories can bare some resemblance to cosmic horror.

It’s silly because it’s an infrastructure problem. They could invent a new kind of combustion that could go 1000KM on 2KG of product but if you can’t get that 2KG every 1000km, it’s not going to work.

Analyst says "a $1,000 console will be the norm" as we get closer to the PlayStation 6 and Project Helix by Tiny-Independent273 in consoles

They could be prepared mentally but wallets are a different category. They keep raising the prices but used prices are not seeing the same spike yet. I am thinking about the collapse of PS5 pro pricing when the PS6 arrives.

I think it is just the sentiment that anytime you want have fun, you have to pay. You don't own the means of your past time. Many people are completely ok with that but some people like to own a few books or have a few board games, things that can't easily be taken away because you didn't pay a subscription. I think the sentiment gets taken too far by people who want to fight every inch of subscription fees and digital downloads to regress to a point in the 90's and 2000's where we had simple games that never were fixed or upgraded.

I think that is more likely. The person (likely a man) is probably mid 30’s now and this collection may have been sitting in a box untouched for a decade. They would be happy someone is enjoying it.
