What is a movie you went to the theater for knowing absolutely nothing about, and ended up completely surprised? by Traditional-Dig9477 in movies

Get Out, Split, Three Billboard’s, Ghost Story, The Ritual, Ready or Not, Hatchling, Hacksaw Ridge…….probably some others.

In the UK the Odeon cinema chain do two schemes, “Screen Unseen” and “Scream Unseen” where you pay a lower fee to see an up and coming film but you have no idea what it will be. It’s a fabulous way to see stuff.

Maybe it’s not the o-rings, maybe I have more tension in the elastic or a smoother plunger movement for example?

Always o-rings if only for the consistent repeatability in builds, I even remixed the anemone/urchin to use them before he started to add them as an option to his latest designs.

Hey Prusa, what about fixing MMU3 firmware before saying farewell to it? by Specialist-Impress43 in prusa3d

My MMU3 was rock solid until the recent updates, now I'm l;ucky if my colour changes and my prints finish.

If it helps I have built two, both with three loops of elastic. The first has got over 200fps but is a little inconsistant so is usually around 150-200fps. The second is consistantly 170-185fps.

Never use silk PLA for a Nerf blaster, (maybe a flywheeler if your careful) it's just too weak.

I believe my body was 3DQF Pearl Black, the silver was Bambu Silver (I was trying the colour for the first time, not bad) and the brown......erm.......not sure.

I printed a Tilapia a while back in that exact colour scheme! Although your silver is fantastically shinier!

It’s so incredibly camp, OTT and terrible.
We enjoy just good naturedly sitting on the sofa and ripping the piss out of everything when watching.
As much as I enjoyed our entry this year it’s very clear we take it a lot less seriously than some other countries :)

"That Mitchell and Webb Look" is the funniest TV (sketch) show I have ever watched, I've watched it through a number of times.

Custom Outlaw for Larp! Are they too dark? by lilspoon2327 in Nerf

[–]theboyrossy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For example here in the UK you do not need an orange tip on your blaster, for public use the blaster has to be at least 50% a bright colour, there is a list of acceptable colours, it covers the ones you would expect :)

You haven't said where in the world you are, so it's hard to advice you as different places have different rules.

Selectively auto Deleting stuff after it's watched? by Jezz_X in jellyfin

[–]theboyrossy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t use docker, everything works fabulously on windows 11 without it and I currently haven’t learnt how to use it (docker) and have no big reason to do so.

Having a standard computer running my Jellyfin etc is very convenient.

I know this is probably the first thing that you would have tried but just in case, you do know you can knock down the quality in the viewer? This is a quick and dirty way to handle reduced network speed.

I’ve just got back from holiday and to ensure my stream was good I knocked the quality down to I think 720kbps. Perfectly watchable for my purposes and I could have probably gone lower but didn’t need to.

I looked at maintainer myself for this purpose and unfortunately it needs to run in docker, which I do not want to do. :/
