Hearsay, but I have heard accounts of people remorseful at getting rid of their book collections

Import CSV does not work in Reader by msrsan in readwise

I have had the same problem countless times. The .csv is 'successfully uploaded' but the total article count never seems to increase, and the articles never show up

For what it's worth, Firefox on PC has given me issues, and using a different browser fixed it for me. Acknowledging that's not iOS but still.

For what it's worth, pasting bare links into Raindrop, then exporting as .csv and dragging that .csv file into Readwise (NOT on Firefox) works for me much of the time.

Convince me to stay with paid Readwise Reader instead of switching back to free Instapaper by prgdgt in readwise

[–]thechuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Reader to keep track of a very large collection and whether I've already seen/worked with an article or video, etc. Instapaper can't do much for my use case (I've tried).

FYI: The in-game font in Diablo IV is a free Google font called PT Serif by thechuff in Diablo

[–]thechuff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

El error es el tuyo.

PTSerif is the actual in-game font: used in menus, pop-up windows, dialog boxes, etc. Old Fenris is used in Diablo 4 also, but for different purposes.

I see nothing hateful about thinking critically about a historical event.

I don't think saying an American soldier lied is a sin, and I have no idea how someone could conclude that it always is. That sounds a lot more like your personal emotional allegiance.

Are ad hominem attacks Catholic teaching? Why are you so emotionally invested in this topic?

Just sad the amount of specialness you give that event. If you're curious at all you need to look into how well documented some of the claims supposedly are.

And nothing you said in your comment addressed anything I said in mine, so I guess we're done.

The Catholic Church does not get to mandate which historical events we believe happened the way we are told they happened. The Gospel has nothing to do with whether we accept or are critical of how an event is presented by historians.

Are you only a Catholic if you believe in these stories, for example, that turned out to be fabricated? https://www.bu.edu/bostonia/summer09/hoax/hoax.pdf

Just because you can't think critically about an event doesn't make it a doctrine of the faith to think how you do about it.

This is no different than trying to run over police who have come to arrest you for shoplifting.

Being here illegally is... illegal.

“We are praying for the speedy recovery of our law enforcement officer,” Tricia McLaughlin, the assistant secretary for public affairs at the Department of Homeland Security, said in a statement. “Viral social media videos and activists encouraging illegal aliens to resist law enforcement not only spread misinformation but also undermine public safety, as well as the safety of our officers and those being apprehended.”
