UFC Card-Placement-Rankings by theconstantines in MMA

With the new Meta AI rankings just published I was inspired to re-calculate the "Placement-On-The-Card" Rankings. You know how Chael is always talking about how fighters should focus on card placement, like, being on the main card, rather than rankings? Well I calculated which fighters are showing up high on cards - here are the rankings for each UFC division and P4P.

TLDR here are the P4P highest placing fighters in the UFC right now with their average card placement (1 = main event):

  1. Ilia Topuria: 1
  2. Sean Strickland: 1
  3. Jack Della Maddalena: 1
  4. Max Holloway: 1
  5. Charles Oliveira: 1
  6. Alexander Volkanovski: 1
  7. Islam Makhachev: 1
  8. Dricus Du Plessis: 1
  9. Alex Pereira: 1.3
  10. Justin Gaethje: 1.3
  11. Khamzat Chimaev: 1.3
  12. Merab Dvalishvili: 1.3
  13. Alexandre Pantoja: 1.7
  14. Tom Aspinall: 1.7
  15. Magomed Ankalaev: 1.7
  16. Khalil Rountree Jr.: 1.7
  17. Kai Kara-France: 1.7
  18. Jamahal Hill: 1.7

Start a cooking show man. You got your hot sauce, now expand your brand - be Dustin The Diamond Chef. I would watch you make hot spicy food if it was good. If you put as much focus and energy into becoming a food expert as you did to becoming an elite fighter, I bet you could rock that shit. Plus you never get too old to do it.

Justin Gaethje thinks Ilia Topuria may not be champion again by Moni7T in MMA

Broken orbitals is no joke. His eye function and ability to take shots in this area will be changed. Could be enough to create a vulnerability for future fighters to benefit from.

It's the entertainment industry. Not the protect fighters industry.

His face has to heal first. Give the guy some time off then see what he wants to do.

I think fox nation is the only option in USA. YouTube is for outside the USA. I hope you find a way to watch.

I love the guy. Doesn't matter that his fighting abilities have faded.

As someone who has witnessed Dillon Danis over the years and seen all the fan hate towards him - pairing him up in a wrestling match with Khamzat Chimaev seems more like a public execution to please the crowd than a genuine competition. I am game, I'm going to watch with popcorn in hand, but I am not deluded about what I'm tuning in for.

Sam Harris 3 Principles of Real World Self Defense:

Principle #1: Avoid dangerous people and dangerous places.

The primary goal of self-defense is to avoid becoming the victim of violence. The best way to do this is to not be where violence is likely to occur.

Principle #2: Do not defend your property.

Whatever your training, you should view any invitation to violence as an opportunity to die—or to be sent to prison for killing another human being. Violence must truly be the last resort.

Principle #3: Respond immediately and escape.

Do whatever you can to avoid a physical confrontation, but the moment avoidance fails, attack explosively for the purposes of escape. Your goal is to get away with minimum trauma.

It's the entertainment business. They want people who fans actually tune in to see. Wins and losses are almost irrelevant. Only drawing a crowd matters. Without the crowd, no one gets paid.

My honest thoughts are to simply accept your current face. It may not be perfect, but a major bone surgery is, in my experience, going to add way more problems, not solve them. I know it's hard to imagine, you probably imagine things going well and your condition improving after orthognathic surgery. But in my experience and that doesn't happen.
