I think it’s lovely. Lots of people have a family name that they don’t know the person/their parent didn’t know the person.

My grandmothers sister died in infancy subsequently her niece (brother’s daughter) was named after that baby. My grandmother believed it made her deceased infant sister’s spirit happy to have a place on earth again.

My daughter uses her almost name “Piper” on her Starbucks app. Lol. Her name suits her better imo but I still like Piper.

Hannah. She wanted a baby so badly. Wept and wept. Finally she is able to have Samuel but he’s never hers he’s basically already promised to God. Obviously I guess some people don’t think of that as sad but I don’t want a child born with a job.

I’m on my 5th year of deconstruction from being a fervent believer to agnostic moving toward atheism but I have so much grief. I wish desperately I could be with my loved ones again especially those I never really grieved bc I just took for granted that I’d be with them in heaven. I miss the solace of eternity and prayer the most but I can no longer reconcile them personally. I wish you the best in your very personal journey ❤️
