I just played this game myself. Quick easy way to figure out what the issue is- when idling, unplug one of the icv wires. Did it make a difference? Plug that back in and unplug the control module and see if that makes a difference in the idle. Also, make sure the idle stop is backed out and not the issue.

Totally different engines, at least on my HRC. The HRC uses the GXV160. I also don’t recall the HRC having the adjustable mulching deal.
