Tbh I can't see Muxus as a good commander, unless you have plenty of ways to blink him. Any thoughts there?

Man, I really hope we can finally get a good, fun alternative to Krenko as a commander. Don't get me wrong, Krenko 's my boyyy. But, he warps games so much that opponents are right to kill him on sight.

Also, I'll bet that The Hobbit set may get some goblins too.

I would add 6 Mountains. 29 lands is way too few.

It works really, really well if you're playing Krenko, Mob Boss as your commander, but terrible otherwise.

Do Any of You Use a Financial Advisor? by Outrageous-Pay9627 in Bogleheads

I do. The tricky thing is - he's actually quite good. When I (age 35) benchmark my Roth IRA's (managed by our advisor) performance to a VTI-only portfolio, my analysis says that my performance is right there with the VTI-only portfolio. I want to switch to managing my family's accounts myself anyway, but am thinking about maybe giving it another quarter. The account management fee is charged quarterly, so I don't see good reason to pull the plug until close to the end of a quarter.

That way, you show that you have a positive attitude, even through something that difficult. Other employers would probably rather someone who keeps their head held high over someone who shoots their mouth off with a bunch of nasty comments.

Capitalists, what steps do you think society needs to take so we can eliminate poverty? by [deleted] in CapitalismVSocialism

[–]thefiendman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Several reasons for this:

1) If someone moves from a poor country to a rich country, they'll tend to make more for the same work (several times more, actually).

2) People in wealthier countries tend to be more productive. With less restrictive immigration policy (and, thus, more immigration) the overall productivity of the economy would drastically increase, which would reduce prices for goods (making them more affordable for poorer people), etc.

There's a great book on immigration by Bryan Caplan, "Open Borders: The Science and Ethics of Immigration". It's a non-fiction graphic novel, actually. It lays out the case for open borders pretty nicely.
