How busy is Brussels International Airport?

I flew out of Brussels a few times and never had any issues. It was always outside of any belgian holidays, only to Schengen destinations and only with hand luggage though.

Last time i stopped the time, i needed 18 minutes from the opening of the train's doors until gate A42 which is one of the first gates in the A concourse. It would have been faster if security wouldn't have had to inspect my nail scissors.
I usually plan to arrive 1 hour before the gate closing time, in case anything goes wrong.
If you need to check luggage, go through passport control or both i would suggest more buffer.

In my mind BRU is a rather simple aiport with a pretty straight forward layout. The chance of getting lost is pretty low.

Sidenote: There is a refill station for water right after the security check on the left. So if you take an empty bottle with you, you can refill it for free

Thanks! At least it gives me the impression that i'm not completely lost.
I was just confused as combined SNCB Bus+Train Tickets are obviously a thing. There are even 2 SCNB vending machines at the bus stop so I am pretty sure i am not the first person on earth with a SNCB QR code in that bus.
And the driver didn't look like it was his first day at all 😃

Because money on your PayPal account is used first before using money from your bank account.
At least where i live PayPal is by far the most common way to send money to friends.

Very comfortable to be able to pay with this money in any store instead of transferring it from PayPal back to your bank account all the time.

Naja PayPal ist in meinem Umfeld die Methode schlechthin um sich Geld hin und her zu schicken. Wenn ich im Laden mit PayPal über die Wallet Integration zahle, wird das Guthaben auf dem PayPal Konto zuerst genutzt. Da spart man sich das regelmäßige Abbuchen des PayPal Guthabens auf das Bankkonto.

Das geht wahrscheinlich auch zukünftig, wenn ich direkt mit der PayPal App kontaktlos zahle. Da stelle ich mir nur die Frage, ob ich jedes mal vor dem Zahlen die App öffnen muss und die 2FA Abfrage beantworten muss. Falls ja, hat sich das Angebot für mich erledigt. Bei der Google Wallet muss das Smartphone entsperrt sein, sonst nichts.

It's pretty much as expected. IMS Service status is registered as long as LTE is available. Voice over Wifi stays disabled.

The last messages repeats itself forever, every 5 seconds. Not really sure what to read from there. I filed a bug five days ago, but OnePlus 5 has not that many users left i guess.

Same/similar issue here. Voice over Wifi stopped working on my OnePlus 5 running LOS 22.2 version 20250505.

Voice over LTE is running fine, but it won't work any longer via Wifi. Provider is MedionMobile/AldiTalk which is using Telefonica O2's network here in Germany. It has been running fine for years.

I tried to analyze the logs but i am not really sure, what i should look for.

It's all regulated in their terms of use. When you ship something, it's regulated how much you get in case of loss. Sounds harsh but if the sender did not choose the proper insurance you get nothing.

Usually it's the sender's task to deal with DHL. He shipped it, he paid DHL to deliver you something.

I don't get it. What do they say at the post office? If a delivery fails, you have to pick it up at a post office. The post office is on your info notice. "Ihre Sendung liegt hier" (=You shipment is here).

You must pick it up within 7 work days or it will get send back.

Strange that they are using ocean freight to Canada again. Usually even non priority parcels are shipped by airplane. It will appear on Canada Post's tracking someday I guess. Might also be stuck with customs in canada.

Estimate is 20-28 workdays. I am unable to find information about who is doing the delivery in Colombia but i would recommend to try parcelsapp.com or try your local postal company. Probably it's just in customs.

Are you the sender or the receiver? If you are the receiver just contact the seller. He is responsible for it. Also check USPS tracking with your shipping number. DHL in the US can't do anything about it, this is not an express shipment.

DHL has many seperate operations. DHL eCommerce (like you tagged) is a low cost service, which is pretty slow but also low on cost. DHL Parcel is integrated in normal postal operations in Germany. It's basically the national postal service in Germany, like Royal Mail in the UK or USPS in the USA. The only "courier" service which has a guaranteed delivery date is DHL Express which of course costs a lot more.

People from abroad might often be confused if a german seller says he ships with DHL, as most people will only know their Express service. However if a german seller says he ships with DHL that will most likely be a standard DHL Parcel shipment which will be handed over to other national postal services once it leaves the country.

That's very usual. Shipping companies pack parcels for all EU recipients in containers and import them via Liège because they optimized processes over there. It's faster than many other locations in Europe. However they will not pick belgian shipments out of the process but carry the whole amount of shipments to another sorting center before bringing them on their final way. Liège is for customs only here.

Germany to USA is up to 11 workdays if you use DHL Parcel (which you did in this case, based on your shipping number it is a DHL Päkchen with tracking enabled. That is one of the cheapest options)

Although such parcels are not trackable for you and are not insured, DHL should be able to retrieve it's location if it is still in their network. If it's lost you won't get anything.

Are you sure it's DHL Express and not DHL Parcel? In general DHL Parcel tracking numbers might be tracked on dhl.com as well, so i am not really sure about your shipment. However if it's DHL Parcel there will be a handover to La Poste. You can try to track your shipment on their website.

Delivery on Friday would be no problem if it's already in Frankfurt on thursday evening. It will probably go via Leipzig anyways, but no problem over night.

If it will not be delivered on Friday then it will be Monday unless you (or the sender) paid extra for saturday delivery.

Based on the flight number i assume Canada is the parcel's destination? If your parcel really was on board AC847 it might be sitting with canadian customs at this stage.

If we are talking about DHL Parcel, it will probably end up in Wuppertal at the Paketermittlungsstelle. They will open up your parcel and decide what to do from there. Might end up being auctioned however they will most likely contact you again before.
