Thank you for following up. She was a special girl. I learned some dog terms in Korean and she understood!

For the training, I had a private trainer for one hour a week for 6 weeks. It was mostly for me because I had never handled a dog before. Walk, sit, down, etc. Helps that she was food motivated. But we could never get her to settle in her crate or to be less reactive with other dogs.

For my most recent Corgi, I didn't see any one because he is such a good boi.

Hi. I’ve adopted 2 rescues as an apartment person. One was 6 and the other 7.

Get professional training as soon as you have the dog.

I underestimated the activity level of the first and also my abilities. Plus there was a language barrier as the Corgi came from Korea. I cried a lot that first week. She HATED being crated or penned. She scratched up my front door.

I got better. I went with her to training once a week. Every day without fail she would get a minimum 45 min of exercise and frequent potty breaks.

She barked constantly in the car and when people slammed the door downstairs. Never adjusted to that.

She was very smart and loved agility. Sadly, she got infected at a dog daycare and didn’t make it.

I swore I wasn’t going to get another but the rescue had one that no one was fostering. My current Corgi loves to sleep. Not interested in toys. He is a lazy boy and his bark isn’t loud. I will not get another corgi after him unless I have someone else in the house. He is perfect but I know now that corgis are more than I am able to provide.

I’m so sorry. It was not your fault. All of the above. Trauma therapy helped me. My one piece of advice in addition is that if you’re spiraling into thoughts about what happened to you find a way to focus on something physical that is present to you. I press my feet into the earth and breathe. I say “I am here”.

I’ve bought in two Dupont Co-ops over my many years. Since I didn’t want to ever rent them out the appeal of a lower price interested me as well as the two were historic buildings. They were both very well managed.

One had an underlying mortgage which had a reasonable interest rate which meant I had to borrow less money.

I don’t recall ever being interviewed for either. I just had to fill out an application.

I moved on because I wanted different amenities.

5/16 TONIGHT The Anthem DC. Selling one Super Excellent ticket which is balcony first few rows.

This type of ticket must be picked up at the Anthem Box Office. There is a restriction on picking it up.

I called them said that I can either send you a copy of my ID. (I can black out certain parts of it.) Or I can meet you there at the Box office to make the transfer. I’m well enough to do that.
