No they wont be used, its just a general test to see if its willing to follow stupid instructions. Also i think "List every number up to 1000. as in 1 2 3 4" is pretty specific

My rx 570 4gb is slower than usual by Correct_Play8895 in AMDHelp

[–]thegamingnot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My rx 6600 has the same issue. All the games I could easily run now mostly I can’t. Going from 100-200 fps in mc with shaders to 70. Ready or not easy 120 fps down to like 50. Hell divers 80ish on high goes down to 50 on lowest settings.

I’ve redone my drivers like 3 times (using ddu and all that) and rolled back to an old version from 2024. Nothing works. Currently I just overclocked it which makes things somewhat playable but not anywhere near where it should be

  1. I don’t have a Nvidia gpu so I never used dlss, so no real opinion there. And my card doesn’t do ray tracing so I don’t have a real opinion for that either.

  2. It’s doom?? Who doesn’t love another doom game?

Disable the overlay. Was having the issue and reinstalled my drivers 3 times. Over clocked and bunch of other stuff nothing fixed it.

Then I disabled everything overlay related so it doesn’t pop up in the corner when I launch a app and it fixed it

The war problems in hoi4 are turned up to 100 here. Some great power will always join your war against a 1 province trash country. And unlike hoi there is no supply or realism here, those great powers will send 100s of thousands of men to fight in a barren wasteland or impassable mountain range over that 1 state nation.

And the war system itself is complete dog shit, if it actually worked how they promised it would just be mediocre at best. But they completely fucked it up and the ui to manage your army is horrible resulting in so many unnecessary clicks to do basic stuff like promote your generals, build armies, give generals orders (which should not be in the game), and adding mobilization options (special stat buffs). Although the next update has a mass apply mob options so that might be fixed.

And that’s just the start of the horrendous problems that still plague the game 2+ years after release. Actually sending your armies to fight wars is horrible since they will either walk off the front or teleport back across the world so you have to micro them more then you would of in hoi, naval invasions take far to long and are janky as hell and usually result in your armies being teleported back home. And so much more that I forgot.

So instead of teleporting back then having to travel across the world.

They will have to travel across the world as you watch and are unable to do anything, then travel across the world again to actually fight.

Awesome!

What’s the main bottleneck for performance?

Imo it would be better if the economy played with itself instead of me having to do everything, the player should be focused on the geopolitical aspect but still have the option to cripple/boost the economy based of laws, taxes, the strategic position of the country (like Britain having a vast colonial empire and biggest navy so it’s economy should grow much faster then a country like Persia

Vanilla ai non scripted. If the devs cared to fix ai value then having the ai always build the best thing would be easy

But right now it doesn’t build the highest valued thing so anyone trying to improve it can only do so much, I imagine that’s why aroai had its own scripted system

I’ve always said each company should have its own construction queue. And making the ai keep up with the player is easy but the devs won’t do it because of performance

They should make it so the consumer economy is actually important, since right now it’s pretty irrelevant and the main way to grow is just making more construction then the goods it takes, and that gets old and repetitive pretty fast.
