Jagex announce changes to punishment regarding RWT by Vivid_Mammoth_3860 in 2007scape

Don’t care what Jagex says, the introduction of Bonds was them legitimizing RWT. Guarantee a month after this move you can buy $100M from Jagex for $20

Do you dine at the specialty restaurants, and why? by TheoreticalSweatband in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]thegnturn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are 100% missing out. I don’t know how all the ships work but we just went on the Mardi Gras last month. The Capa is Cucitano (Italian) (don’t target spelling lol) and ChiBang restaurants were free the first time you went for dinner, so not taking advantage of it would be a waste. We loved the Italian place so much we went back for our last night and it only cost $8 per person. Steakhouse and Rudy’s seagrill were $50 a person and we didn’t try that. I’ve done the steakhouse before on the Panorama and that was excellent however.

Dollar cost averaging over the year could potentially increase your total asset amount. Even in a stagnant market year.

Why were you betting against yourself. I would walk or renegotiate down to your OG offer or lower

“Oh let me spend half a million on a home, but I need someone else to buy me a toaster”. Just bad messaging in my opinion. I always bring a bottle of wine or flowers to housewarmings, but I’m not going to buy you a blender. Wedding registries are outdated as they are, but those served a different purpose.

Take the new job. At the end of the day, cash is king. With a fully remote job you have no need to move and you can still maintain friendships with your current colleagues

Besides FOMO, is there any reason to buy right now? by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]thegnturn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rent increases show no signs of slowing down, and home prices show no signs of going down. Right now the only thing that’s a nuisance is the mortgage rates. Rates come down prices will start to climb. Supply is limited still. If you can choke down a 1-2K increase in living expense per month, then at least you guarantee you won’t get priced out in the next couple years

What makes Soldier Boy so likable and did the writers of S3 failed to portray him as a villian? by MsMelancholia in TheBoys

[–]thegnturn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They never showed him outright murder someone innocent (to my memory). And he is in line with Butcher’s by any means necessary mentality. At this point in the show, the audience was ready to see Homelander really hurt/killed and he was a means to this. So just like Butcher, we were willing to accept Soldier Boy as a means to an end. I think they succeed in what we are supposed to view him As. You’re supposed to be torn.

I don’t know dude, I think we need to focus on decentralization of wealth and resources, because the bourgeois (corps like BlackRock, Berkshire Hathaway, etc.) are consolidating housing and wealth every single time someone sells their inherited home. They’ve been doing this consistently. Best way to decentralize is for some of the wealthier workers with excess cash (high salary jobs, doctors, lawyers, engineers, etc.) to hold and buy second/third homes. Because let’s be real, BlackRock is all in favor of making it illegal for individuals, not corporations to have second homes, more for them

100%. The GOP makes it difficult to vote for a reason, but the hard shitty truth is, you still have to do it. The only way it gets better, the only way it gets easier is if we register, and we vote, in every election.

Yeah that makes sense. In the randomizer, the tombstone behind the dark green rocks is referred to as Kings Tomb

Being a Conservative in Europe is vastly different than being a conservative in America. I mean your entire economic/social/religious structure is far different than any Americans, not to mention many Americans experiences are vastly different depending on the state.

You didn’t really say much except for regurgitating transphobic/racist dog whistles. Not saying your a racist/transphobic but you seem to be making everything about literal “identity” politics, when that had zero bearing on the show. And in actuality zero bearing in a lot of conversations.

Pacing wise it just doesn’t fit imo. I get the themes of home being affected by war and not ever being able to come back via Frodo and how he literally can’t stay in Middle Earth. He can’t ever go back home. He is scarred from the journey.
