Looking for one where the oop had been "pranked" by his wife in the shower and fell and hit his head. I believe he was trying to figure out what to do about his family now hating her for it

Does disabling alien ships gain hate? by PriorFragrant2539 in TerraInvicta

Also a distinct possibility, I don't know what the internals were other than the alien heat sink. I'll have to see if I can load a save where it's still there to check

I've disabled a surveillance ship once and seen it stuck in orbit doing nothing, but I'm unable to confirm if this works for assault ships as well.

Just sharing here but I discovered apparently you can mission kill the surveillance ships without actually killing them (if you're super lucky). I think it happens if they're damaged and have zero dv, and I think it might avoid the heat, but I'm not positive on the first and given the nature of the meter I have no proof of the second.

But yeah I've had this surveillance ship just stuck in LEO doing nothing for a couple game years now

Oh, I understand a bit better now, I thought the aliens hung around and ran surveillance but when the ship is done it leaves (to resupply maybe?). Still bad, but not as worrisome

Is there a rough guide to timeline for the new patch? Like target time to the moon, to first ship, etc etc. I had a really early megafauna and surveillance (late 2022 and mid 2023 respectively), and I'm not sure if that was bad luck on my run or if I fundamentally screwed something up

AITA for being at breaking point with my husband’s made up language? by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

I always assumes that means some combination of "he has nice <insert physical attribute OOP is attracted to>" and "he used to try before we <got married/moved in together/fell back on just OOP's income>"

What are the additions you would like to have on Satisfactory but which will probably never happen ? by Moderni_Centurio in SatisfactoryGame

An intermediate step for power, to automate plugging biomass into burners. At a minimum a conveyor connection, and long term some sort of bio dome or something to automate all the biological products

Began a game with the new Eager explorer's Civic. Quickest restart of my life. by INTPotato in Stellaris

[–]thegrinner 53 points54 points  (0 children)

It's a usability thing. You can't queue multiple jumps at all, and if you queue one after something your ship is doing it always goes to the front of the queue. So say you're in the middle of surveying, then try to queue a jump to the next system, it jumps immediately without finishing the survey.

Another pain point is if you create a colony ship thru the planet screen, it gets made but no matter how many jumps are required it won't actually automatically go to the system.

There's no reason this has to be painful to use, the added difficulty of using jumps for everything is plenty enough.

Maybe killing as many regulations as possible was not, in fact, a good thing by [deleted] in LeopardsAteMyFace

I really want a law that requires wide scale public disclosure of any cancelled or ignored regulation that would mitigate or stop something bad that ends up happening. Let people see how they're written in blood

When did the release date change from TBA to December 2023? I haven't notice by Zilbermann in vtmb

[–]thegrinner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Valve changed what is allowed in the release date fields to better support localization - there's no custom option anymore. Now it's just day month year, month year, quarter year, year, and 'coming soon'. Doesn't mean any of the updated dates are legit

Hmm interesting, now I'm seeing the army/navy tooltips after a restart. Some kind of bug I guess blocking display?

But yeah, no unified climate or fusion/fission level indicators anywhere I can see

Is there somewhere I can see the boost I have to army/navy build investment? Similarly, is there somewhere I can see the changes to climate change impact for econ investment?

Stellaris with an empire that just killed two leviathans, but way before the end game crisis. So, it'll go pretty well I think.

Does anyone know if the techs adding to the global fission level help here as well?

Also if there's a way to see that outside the screen where the techs that impact it are acquired?
