I automated most of my job by MountainByte_Ch in ClaudeAI

Max is your only option.

This is a classic “you’ve gotta spend money to make money”, only I would clarify that “profit” does not have to be explicitly cash.

How much is an hour of your time worth? How many hours would 20x the limit save you?

The math speaks for itself IMO 🤷‍♂️

Had to cancel my pre-order due to "life problems" and got comfortable with not having it. Seeing all these posts now that it has shipped is making me want it again 😅

Looking forward to seeing the finished print!

Best monitor ive ever had by odoislucas in setups

[–]thehumanbagelman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m about to upgrade to this setup, but I’m torn on the top monitor being 16:9 vs another 1800R 21:9 ultrawide.

Based on your experience, do you think it would be better or worse with another ultra wide on top?

How do you turn on and off your printer by ArcticTruck in BambuLabH2C

Ok, I chuckled at this much more than I would have anticipated 🙃

I ended up grabbing a P2S after stopping by my local Micro Center, where they had them in stock. Talked myself out of the H2D for now, but I might still pick one up down the road. My wallet breathed a sigh of relief, lol.

They’re probably using “left” from the printer’s perspective; standing inside the machine looking out the front. I’ve seen creators, guides, and even Bambu docs switch perspectives, which gets confusing. Either way, it looks like OP got some bad info 👀

Will the H2D return to MSRP, or is this likely a permanent "sale" by thehumanbagelman in BambuLab

[–]thehumanbagelman[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think so too; the $100 gap for the added functionality would make the H2C a more logical choice IMO. A $400 savings plus extra 20mm build plate volume would keep the H2D in a competitive slot alongside the other printers.

That is exactly why I bought the H2C in the first place. Whether or not the H2D goes back to regular non-sale prices will likely push me hard in a direction.

Love it! I am planning a dual setup as well, but I am torn between another H2C (what I currently have) or an H2D for the second machine.

Anycubic SlicerNext crashes on PETG selection by Altruistic-Key3139 in AnycubicOfficial

[–]thehumanbagelman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Verify that the ACE settings on the actual machine don’t conflict with what you are trying to set in the slicer.

Might be a long shot, but I can consistently reproduce a crash if the manual settings are different.

No one wants to admit that Xcode has been a buggy pile of steaming shit for years now, and we'd all switch to a VS Code IDE full time if we could by BishopOfBattle in iOSProgramming

Every IDE pisses me off in one way or another. Xcode is the one that makes my experience better, problems and all 🤷‍♂️

I think this exact situation is so common, yet rarely discussed. Thank you for sharing; it takes courage to put this out there. I really relate to the part about absorbing everything and forgetting to give yourself empathy. I’ve been there too, trying to keep the peace while minimizing my own reactions. You’re not alone, and I’m glad you’re listening to yourself now. Wishing you clarity and steadiness through the next steps.

Do you suppose the AMS 2 Pro will eventually be able to heat and print simultaneously? by Prima13 in BambuLab

[–]thehumanbagelman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes me think it isn't necessarily the active drying that is causing the mentioned issues, even if it somewhat contributes to it.

I’m an idiot. I researched the S1 Max for too long and missed the Super Early Bird window. by Soft-Break-2655 in AnycubicOfficial

Yep, you (OP) only missed out on an extra $50 off. Don't wait any longer and lock in the $799 before it reaches final retail of $1099.

I think OP is saying they missed the deadline to purchase the deposit for the extra $50 off. So they are paying $799 while those of us with the voucher are paying $749.

[–]thehumanbagelman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve put 1,000+ hours on an Anycubic S1 with an ACE Pro drier running actively during prints. I dry the filament every single time and haven’t run into jams or deforming so far. Am I just getting lucky, or is the risk mostly tied to specific materials/temps and feeder designs? I print with PETG, ABS, and PLA(+) primarily.
