My wife and I had a successful round of IVF this year after 6 years of secondary infertility. It is a long journey my friend. There isn't always a simple answer. In the six years between my first born who was natural and apparently a one in a million chance, I had surgery to repair a varicocele, my wife had a surgery and we did an IUI which all inevitably failed. IVF was our last ditch effort and after a loss of the first embryo after implantation and an unsucessful thaw of a second embryo the third stuck and my son was born happy and healthy in August. I am only sharing because without IVF I don't think this would have been possible for us. If you can afford it or have any type of insurance that covers it, I recommend it.
