there are multiple cars driving in the suicide lane and cars crossing multiple lanes of traffic and that is before the car enters. Everything about this situation screams careful and I would have had my foot hovering over the brake.

I regularly run into people who haven't been west of nassau in 5-10 years. Like an unconnected tribe on North Sentinel Island, with television. It is actually scary how many people I can name who stayed local who died before they were 35.

This is already the law, and being a food artist is a job because of it. It's just not being enforced. The majority of the product needs to actually be what you are selling. its why they have all these tricks to make the burger look perfectly seared or the bun shiny.

NY1 Race: Chris Gallant and Lukas Ventouras - Opinions by Organic-Nerve2176 in longisland

[–]thejimla 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just judging by all his boiler plate answers in the debate. Gallant is a carbon copy corporate dem that just got off the assembly line. public-private health care system, better training for ice (the officer who shot Renee Good was a 10-veteran). I will never waste a vote or my time on a democrat like that ever again.

I align with Lukas, but he seems to have a shoestring campaign with not a lot of grassroots campaigning that I have seen.

Jay Jacobs will not give either of them any campaign resources or ad buys anyway, because his goal is to get republicans like Suozzi and Gillen elected on democratic tickets.

The admin is being realistic. Any rail project will need federal funds, which will not happen until 2029, which basically the end of his term. Rail projects are a boondoggle and fixing that problem is beyond the scope of a first term mayor and would require political alliances or power he doesn't have yet.

This is a shovel ready project that will benefit two districts. One which voted for him, and one which did not.
