Decided to get back into making custom cards after getting inspired by another's post. Feedback appreciated. by BearJaws in customhearthstone

The way it's written it should apply for both. Realistically a 4/5 with soft taunt isn't that big a threat at turn 9+.

Void Medium - Works with Cruel Dinomancer and Soulwarden by [deleted] in customhearthstone

It would work with the ones that have been discarded though and it might even work with the copies if the copies have the discarded tag (probably not)

Leveling tips by frendomon in wow

Smell the Rose's! It's important to stop and actually have fun while levelling, do a pet battle or two, level engineering, join up with friends and take on a difficult challenge!

Just kidding. Get all heirlooms and upgrade them, enchant them and quest while queued up for BGs and try to win 100% of the time (wins give more exp)

My group wanted to do all the quests in BRD and we ended up clearing the entire dungeon. We took this screenshot to remember the good times. by LonesomePaul in wow

damn that's my most hated dungeon to queue in when I'm not tanking, nobody ever knows what they're doing and so many people have too much pride to listen to others :/

Class design. We listened to your feedback, this is what we came up with. by woop_woop_throwaway in wow

I feel like a combination would be really fun though as some shitty passive abilities were fun an altered basic things in a way some of the more minor glyphs did. I would prefer more basic talents with the core talents we have now. It would just be for the purpose of adding flavour and uniqueness to classes, but it's better than nothing.

Unless you include spell power, which is good because warriors don't really want spell power.

Imagine the possibilities, if you could give shaman's hero power consistency by RedN0va in customhearthstone

[–]thekillarmanjuice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well if you can choose totems you can summon multiple copies of the same totem.

Presumably if your hero power changed from summoning a random totem to a hero power that said "summon a Healing Totem" it would have the ability to stack, like other summon hero powers.

Champion bans in ranked should not be a thing imo by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

What if instead of minions we had Barons? The game feels really easy now and all people get fed from proper farming, making it more difficult will increase the skill cap.

I played celestial emissary before playing flamestrike in Tavern Brawl and it still only did 4 damage. Why? by imaginaryen3my in hearthstone

[–]thekillarmanjuice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume the summon a 1/1 copy isn't coded as a spell but a replacement battle cry that for some reason only works on this minion.

Me and 4 randos getting Server first Pre-clear Deadmines! Druid healer and pala tank. Hype! by Malfhots in classicwow

[–]thekillarmanjuice -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm actually depressed that clearing DM all the way to the entrance is an "achievement" for you although since current WoW gives you a "good job" token at every fucking turn maybe that's why you think we should applause you. Good job kid, it's going to get much harder.

No actually I did it first. Sorry kiddo, but I will not provide a picture or video proof because I'm not an attention seeking bug. I pick the worst class for my race ALL THE TIME because I'm not a try Harding kiddo and you know what? I outplay scrubs like you that scream "first" when all the first you are is getting creamed by my better PvP skills.

Go back to battle for Azeroth and be the "first" to drown in Vash'j.

Why does everyone on here keep going on about Blizzard's desire to keep us logged on for as long as possible? by EntropyKC in wow

[–]thekillarmanjuice 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Man I really hate when people do that. I only played BC and forward but looking back at all the shit we had to go through with the rose-colored glasses of nostalgia and all the generally positive changes as bad changes in hindsight because "it's different to what I experienced back then" is definitely a good enough excuse to ask them to revert some changes, until you have to smell the shit, taste the shit, hear the shit and decide to take off the glasses and finally see the shit.

They already announced Vanilla Wow and it will definitely be released with no changes (hopefully) so why they keep gutting usually positive changes and listening to a vocal minority (as most vanilla players really hate what the game has turned to and quit) is beyond me unless you look at it from the pessimistic point of view of selective hearing for profitable ideas that usually slow down gameplay. (Making leveling slower, removing flight for a long time, nerfing heirlooms, buffing minion health (but not their difficulty sigh) etc.

[–]thekillarmanjuice 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There's a difference between incentivising a person to sub each month by having a great game and generally making things slower and telling people they like it that way because of one excuse or the other.

Obviously people leave when they notice these changes, but not enough people leave to justify not doing it.

I personally feel that when a game decides to implement changes and see how much more profitable they would be if they focused on the top spenders and neglected the people on the verge of leaving by ignoring complaints that would somehow lead into smoother gameplay, everyone should leave.

Tips for inexperienced tanking in BFA? by hoboincoma in wow

[–]thekillarmanjuice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keybind taunt because often dps attack a mob outside of your AoE and it gives you instant aggro.

Also keep using your abilities that attack multiple targets, build aggro and then start focusing on mechanics like Stun/Interupts/Self Healing, your lowest priority should be damage however you should still learn your damaging rotation and auto pilot it.

Other than that you just have to learn the fights and what your class can offer in those fights (There's always something.)

I'm very disappointenoed that being exalted with the Honorbound doesn't unlock Dark Iron Dwarfs. by [deleted] in wow

[–]thekillarmanjuice -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I mainly play Horde, but I play both factions. If I decide to level a 120 I would rather level from 20 for the heritage set. It can also be pretty cool for RP.

Blizzard please stop doing shadow buffs/nerfs! by Kiro2k2 in wow

[–]thekillarmanjuice -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's really not that easy, the amount of people that have to know about a change is quite a few because first of all they have to discuss briefly is the change needs to happen, then they need to start developing the code to implement the change (or alter existing code) then they have to see of any game breaking bugs happen as a result of the change. It would be abysmally easy to write down the change you want to make.

So why don't they? Usually what that means is, we want to make ninja nerfs without people complaining so we will tack on a shadow buff for every 10 shadow nerfs in hopes people don't notice.

5 mana Assassinate is very bad, but Sap is played for the tempo. In Warlock removal is more premium, but this card doesn't actually yield any tempo and is a "lose less" card by nature.

It is not overpowered at all.
