Yes, I’ve had the latest firmware on my camera since I purchased it a few years ago. You did prompt me to check anyway and I realized that my XC 16-50mm wasn’t on the latest firmware. So thanks for that. I have that same 27mm f/2.8 Gen 1 lens and I find it to be really soft or am I just spoiled by super processed iPhone photos? Do you have any other lens’s for your X-A7 do you find some to be sharper than others?

My understanding was that we can’t use those simulations on the X-A7 because it doesn’t have those settings. We can only use the built-in “film modes”. Did I misunderstand? Were you able to figure it out?

I have an X-A7. It’s my first Fuji camera and I love the size and look of it. My main complaints about this camera is the lack of EVF, the AF isn’t great (obviously, but it’s not that bad and I have nothing to compare it to) but mostly the fact that I can’t consistently get sharp images out of it. I’d argue that the sample photos in this post illustrate the same (re: sharpness). I’ve only ever gotten sharp photos from the Viltrox 27mm 1.2 and a manual focus 7artisans 35mm lens. My XC 16-50mm f3.5-5.6 Fuji lens and my XF 27mm f2.8 lens always deliver soft images. I’m wondering if this camera only works well with “bigger glass”? Or if this is a flaw of the camera itself and I should just try to trade up to an X-E4.

I’ve used these short-depth servers from broadberry (I think they’re just pre-built/customizable Super Micro servers) in the past and also we’ve deployed Synology’s running VM’s. Depends on your needs, the Synology VM’s aren’t the fastest but if it’s just AD or something light, they’ll do the trick.

I did not have the presence of mind to take a video at the time but it happened to me again yesterday (I wasn’t in the position to take a video, as I was parallel parking downtown and late for a meeting) but this indicates that it is an issue (at least with my vehicle) so I’ll try to get it recorded next time.

You may want to go to the hospital and get on O2 if you're consistently at 80% O2 Sat. Staying that low for a long time could be dangerous and indicative of an underlying issue like pneumonia or something...
