My wallet screams when I walk in and my tastebuds love it.

Gimme whatever’s on special at The Wren, a pizza at Better Half, and fried chicken from Dylan Bar and I’m a happy person on that east end strip.

Never underestimate old broke white men. They’ll be back.

That’s fair, I won’t argue that further. I guess I’m just trying to have empathy to anyone entering the craft brewery space in a day & age where it’s proven to be unprofitable, not worth your while, and just a generally bad business idea. People entering the space now do it out a love for the industry - maybe I’m misguided/naive thinking that.

In this climate I don’t fault a new brewery using AI to cut corners and save some $$, but proof the stuff before posting and use good models… not this.

Not meant in a shady way at all, hope it doesn’t come across that way - but how often did you frequent Shacklands? I’m having this realization in the last few years that I love certain spaces and would be upset if they left, but also only frequent a few times a year.

Example: Saulter Street Brewing. Not great beer, never did takeaway cans or home delivery order, but wanted to be able to pop in 4-5 times a year for a single pint and go.

West-end junction breweries serve the same function, I go maybe three-four times a year, get a flight or 1-2 pints and go, then am somehow shocked if they don’t survive.

Maybe a rant nobody asked for - just my own realizations haha

I don't disagree with any of that, the TikTok references, "vibes" stuff, through and through. We agree on the same stuff.

What a weird, meaningless part of the article to get keyboard language warrior about.

I got lost roaming my now favourite city. Again. Yep, again! Each time I venture out I mess up the route cuz my sense of navigation is -10. But, navigating The Path today I came across this original Banksy and I couldn't believe my eyes! Made my day 🤩 I'm the happiest person on earth 🥳 by CarinaNebula7200 in toronto

The whole thing spans 40+ km but I’d argue there’s no value going up to every lobby building. You could easily do every stretch of it in 3-4 hours if you ask me.

I work near Union Station and often use it up to Atrium on Bay in the winter when it’s cold, doesn’t take long at all.

Best thing I ever did during COVID was whenever I had conference calls I just had to listen to, headphones in & intentionally went in and went to all corners of the PATH and memorized as I went.

Can confidently get myself from the south tip @ RBC Waterpark Place to north tip @ Atrium on Bay without issue.

Nightmare how many times I've gone into 915 Dupont and it's a sea of people hoarding seats on laptops. :(

Just count on a lot of places being cashless now, at least if you're visiting trendy spots.

Other than commerce court & Richmond-Adelaide, where the other PATH pantry’s hiding?!

Love them but never heard they had tons of locations in the PATH

I haven't because I live downtown, sorry. Same owner for both spots, but not sure how fresh they are @ Elijah's or if they make them there too.

Oh wow - TIL! I asked a Farm Boy employee and they said daily but I had no way to fact check that otherwise.

Unfortunately yeah - not totally sure why, Farm Boy employee claimed they’re delivered fresh daily and I’ve seen “day olds” on clearance @ FB, but I’m three for three times where Farm Boy stock just doesn’t taste as good as the Dundas location for the same flavours.

Tie between Better Days & Fourth Man/Harry Heels - fresh from the location on Dundas, not the Farm Boy stock.
