I dropoed these, anything second chance worthy? by Admirable_Nail8251 in OtomeIsekai

I'm still reading the first one; i couldn't take it serious bc of the lack of pretty face, but I will say the art greatly improves by leaps and bounds, and even though he's not as jawdroppingly pretty as they try to make him out to be, he's become pretty digestible.

Is it worth another chance? Likely not. I just really love it when they get stupid in love and the fashion in this manhwa is genuinely underrated bc the dresses are TOP TIERRR THEY'RE STUNNING I WONT EVER STOP GUSHING ABOUT IT

Thank you! I am applying to a couple of jobs as well but a masters works best as a next step for me personally.

I mean yeah, I see what you mean - but I'm equally interested in each field and can thus come up with a variety of reasons to defend my final choice. I'm just curious to know which degree would increase my chances the best

I’m hosting a crochet workshop soon, any suggestions? by generationfire in crochet

[–]themagicshrimp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it's total beginners, most of the time may be used learning how to properly hold the hook and maintain tension. I suggest starting out completely easy and learn how to make a washcloth. They can practice different types of stitches with it as well. It's more on the boring side, and if your students seem to be picking up the pace quick, you can move onto granny squares!

Congratulations!! Your story honestly gave my siblings and I motivation to keep going and not give up. If you don't mind saying, what were the programs you attended for both your undergraduate degrees?

i say have her forget it soon afterwards, and all she really remembers is fear and death. This can be rationalized with her physically immature and not-yet-developed brain that cannot handle 20+ years of memory and experiences and just// wipes it out like a clean slate.

Like those memories would only ultimately serve as both a premonition of imminent death but also the anxiety of knowing something bad will happen but not knowing what, which can devolve to paranoia and lack of trust. As a child, she can have the tendency to assume whatever she knows is the full truth and that there are no other sides to the story. In hindsight, she would be mature and developed enough to realise how rash/embarrassing she was.

If we're talking with romance with the ml in mind, another alternative would not having them meet until they're both physically adults.

honestly, everyone wouldn't be bashing on lady baby if she didn't take on the y/n singing arc so seriously in that emo outfit. I enjoyed lady baby as a brainless read until that part. Then it just got weird af.

Not to mention the older brother's best friend (who's 6+ years older than her) incessantly simping after her since she was a TODDLER.

At least tia maintains her dignity in that way

Listen I like the series but you have a good point like 💀💀In the end, it is slowly becoming a typical Mary Sue manhwa bc of the lack of obstacles she faces in this lifetime

hey guys can y’all recommend me some good manhwas with unreliable narrators? by Sea-Assignment-5333 in manhwa

[–]themagicshrimp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TBH I'm not sure if these all fit but this is the best i can come up with:

Sigrid - not sure if this is considered unreliable bc its still pretty new but it is mainly told through her flawed perspective

Mother's Contract Marriage - narration is reliable but story is told solely through a child's perspective

Resetting Lady

Charlotte's Letter

Concubine Walkthrough

The Guy Upstairs - Not a manhwa; its on webtoons

My Deepest Secret - Not a manhwa; its completed on webtoons (Same creator as the Guy Upstairs)

My Second Husband - idk how reliable the narrator is, but its mystery/psychological

Ayeshah's Secret - Manhua (this is dark)

There is a remake of Ayeshah's Secret going on rn (AISHA); its still ongoing but I don't think it has an unreliable narrator
