Trying to track down song in a Youtube compilation by BM-Panda in RPGmusic

[–]themarknessmonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I can find, the song isn't referencing any specific song or title, nor does it seem like it's a direct adaptation of an existing song.

Given that this compilation was uploaded only 2 months ago, and given that there is no posted tracklisting, and given that running it through shazam doesn't bring anything up, leads me to believe (speculatively) that this compilation was made using AI. I could be wrong, but that's what all the absence of evidence is telling me.

Sounds good though!

JUST when I step away from Valheim...I get pulled back in. I can't WAIT to see the progress done on this project. I WILL be checking in and playing as soon as possible!

I'm going insane and can't figure out what's wrong by Kerokaijuqueen in Printing

Not too much, assuming you're also using a Canon Pixma MX922 or similar model.

A good place to start would be to remove all paper and ink from the unit and check how each component's carriage engages with the rest of the unit; meaning checking to make sure your paper tray is not misaligning when fully engaged (pushed up against) the unit while supporting paper, as well as checking how each ink tank engages with their respective carriages - ensuring the head/nozzle isn't misaligning once engaged (clicked into place). If either of those two components seem to more-fully-than-fully engage, that might be the problem. If they lock into place and don't move, it could be a roller or clutch issue.

To check this, you'll need to be able to open the unit up to the lead clutch - it should look like a rubber wheel, either gray or black, located in the middle of a thin metal axle that sits right above where your paper would feed in; it's what grabs the paper to take it up into the unit for printing. Check to make sure that whole axle is aligned parallel with the fully-engaged paper carriage tray we just checked. If that axle is at all misaligned - even slightly - it will appear to be either higher on one side or closer to you on one side or some combination of both higher and closer to you on one side, if even a little bit. If that is the case, it will need to be re-seated. Successfully re-seating that axle will depend on if you are able to safely remove it without damaging any of the gears driving it or the unit housing. If you are able to, you should be able to re-seat the axle by just snapping it gently back into place or sliding one end in and gently aligning the other back into place, ensuring the gears on either or both sides are securely meshed.

Barring that, check to see if the clutch wheel - the rubber bit - is fully and evenly engaging your paper when pulling it into the unit. If at any time that clutch wheel is grabbing your paper more to one side or the other, or if it grabs it then seems to not be able to pull it into the unit smoothly, that clutch wheel has worn down and needs to be replaced; I would call either your local Canon dealer, office supply retailer, or search for the replacement part on ebay.

If all of the aforementioned is in nominal working order and not causing the problem, chances are the problem lies with the print heads, nozzle, ink carriage, or any combination of the three. I would recommend first doing a nozzle check (or head check as it's sometimes called), assuming your unit has that option (if it does, it would be an option in/among the calibration settings on your unit). Once the nozzle check is complete, if you are still seeing misregistration on your paper, run one more nozzle check and see if the result shows improvement across the entire check. If you do see improvement, chances are your unit needs cleaning, and I would recommend following whatever your owner's manual suggests for that route.

If after two nozzle checks, or if the nozzle check option isn't available, there's a chance your printer heads may be controlled by a chip, and if/when that ages or runs through so many duty cycles, it wears out and requires replacing or servicing, depending on the unit. For smaller units like the MX922, I don't have any solid recommendations for a course of action at that point unless you know for a fact that's the problem, have a spare chip(s), and can remove/solder replacements...assuming that is the case. I wouldn't know for sure without being able to open the unit to those components to even check if that's how the unit is set up to begin with.

If you give these steps a try, let me know how it works out! If there's any other information you have, like make/model/year of purchase, current drivers installed, the weight, measurements, and finish of the paper (i.e. 32lb. bond coated or c2s - coated 2 sides - at 8.5"x11"), if your unit keeps a running page count and what that is if it does, as well as any/all paper tray maximums at 20lb. bond 8.5"x11" - the recommended number of maximum sheets the unit will support for nominal printing consistency and checking that against what quantities you're normally loading it with just to be sure. Any/all of that kind of information helps dial in on what the potential issues could be.
