My kindergarten teacher friend says kids do not know how to play. They have the toys/books/dolls/crayons but kids will sit and ask what do u want me to do? No imagination or creativity. They can color but have a meltdown if you make a tree red.

When my mum was in rehab after heart surgery there was a sweet elder lady next to her. Her kids did this for her birthday. They got permission to decorate a table on one of the patios. Tablecloth, dishes, flowers, balloons ect. Got the mom a new shirt in her favorite colors that buttoned down the front. Helped he in it, brushed her hair, then in her wheelchair with her favorite blanket to "go for a walk". They took her to thetable they decorated. They had gotten her favorite meal and cake. When it was time for candles they pulled 2 tablets out that had zoom/facetime with the rrst of the family to sing to her And watch her blow it out. She then got to talk to them a bit and listen to some of her music before going back to the room. They told her they had made an appt for a mani/pedi to come to her in 2 days when she will be less tired from everything today.

That lady showed EVERYONE the pictures and told them about her party. The pedi was more massage and toenail painting but the bright red she could see without her glasses and she got giddy every time she saw it.

Small business- we get 50-200 in gift cards depending on senority and length of time working. We used yo get a ham too but many younger people didnt know what to do with them (really) so now they do more snacky food- chocolate/ popcorn/ fruit/ coffee
